Also why doesn't the sky go darker?

It looks like the day/night cycle stops after sunset just when the sky is nearly pitch black. I hope it doesn't stop right there...I mean there had better be a sunrise as well.

From other longer videos from Gamescom, you can see the sun rise in the Toscana track, but the sky doesn't get any darker than what you see in the video above. I wonder why

It's not that Toscana is at latitudes that don't make the night go completely dark.

If the assumption of an unknown feature looks too good to be probably then you are not being realistic.

There's a difference between being realistic and being negative given the facts(and a bit of common sense).

So given what we have seen of standard cars was it reasonable and reaslitic to assume that they would all be fixed up before launch to a higher standard? And was it negative to say they didn't live up to expectations set for GT by GT5P?

Given the facts that's being optimistic not realistic.

A very good showcase for damage: . In order for PD to do truly realistic damage they would need to model the inside and the outside of every car. Not to mention if that had been a Honda Civic is would have disintegrated. Given PD's level of OCD we would not see another GT game for 5 years at least. Its just not possible.

Off course they don't Sherlock, because normal cars don't usually do triple digits speed at the time they crash, but supercars driven by rich, but unskilled drivers, on public roads do

Thats the word I'm worried about though,

Way to much talk of disabled features, or not present(but will be) features being referred to without the proof to back it up(thats not a shot at you, and not just meaning damage).

Theres only so much I'm willing to believe that these demos aren't showing us,
at some stage one starts to feel that what we are being shown is what we'll get, that said I 'know' it will get better becasue quite simply it has to.

Basically I don't like the 'its only a demo' go to line, mainly becasue demos are supposed to be a close representation of the finished product(the whole reason for releasing them), that said PD seem to have dozens of different demos that they have wheeled out for different(or even the same) events.

Besides all that, we don't know anything about the real picture you posted, plus there is video of similar damage like that of the GT5 posted pic after one hit.

We do know becasue its the real world that it didnt take several 100+ KPH impacts to cause the damage,
Whereas for the most part the opposite is true for GT.

Plus this demo that we have finally had a first hand experience of damage is quite old.
