It is! There's been some interesting spottings that people have posted here before with news. Any form of media, from video games, movies, family home videos, comics even, etc.

So for the last few weeks, i have been browsing old images & footage's to see how the olden days used to be and that would include spotting the cars people used to drive. After spending days looking around, somehow i managed to end up looking at the Gulf War (Not sure how that happened...) and started reading about some people's stories and the destruction that's caused by the invasion & war.

While watching some videos on people celebrating after the end of the war, i started to get distracted by the cars their were driving. Aside from the road being full of GM, Mercedes Benz and Toyota cars, i also found some more "interesting ones". I had to cut them all and fit as many as possible in an image:

Starting from Top left:

• Chevrolet Camaro 3rd Gen
• White Nissan Skyline R30
• Pontiac Fiero (Apart from my uncle one, i never seen or heard anyone owning fiero at all in this part of the world...until now)
• Ford Mustang Fox Body
• Toyota Celica

• Volvo 200 Series (It's uncommon to see a Volvo nowadays)

In the newest local ad for Toyota, a Toyota Supra shows up briefly:

From what i've heard, very few Supra's MK4 generation were officially made for this region (GCC Spec) so ether this is was a US Spec or genuine middle eastern market one. Still Interesting to see a Supra in otherwise your average everyday TV/internet ad.

Is it me or animes even the ones that's unrelated to cars at all tend to have a more accurate car design that based on real counterpart than let's say your average western cartoons?

Couple days ago, I was watching with my brother some of the older episodes of Hunter X Hunter, the one's in Yorknew City and it seems that every car over there were a mercedes...especially what the mob members were driving.

Here's another anime show with totally different genre *cough* Love live. Again, not car related at all yet they seems to put some toyota's and Honda's in it.

My first time being in this thread and I think it is better to show what cars are simply gained my attention, especially in anime as medium. So here goes :
