Really?

European cars tend to be ordered in LHD for exotic tastes. Not all, but some, especially the big, luxury brands.

I recently was watching "Stupid Mario Brothers", a comedic type of show about the Mario characters and I saw 2 Jaguar E-Types behind Wario when he was dancing.

When watching seinfeld recently, there were a lot of cars that distracted me. Since I don't feel like screenshotting them, I'll just post links to the IMCDb page.

This Starion has been in quite a few episodes.

Lastly, the SVX from the episode where they were trying to find their car.

There was a VW bus in a episode of Pokemon I think it was in the Diamond and Pearl series.

And it seems to have a German license plate, of all things... Which is interesting, mainly because National Security's action happens mostly in 'Murica, so it's strange to see a car running a German plate in such an American setting.

The same thing could be said about BMW owners. The other day, I saw a 3-Series with a euro plate on the front.

Not if you've seen enough Volkswagen owners here.

So it isn't such an uncommon occurence, it seems. Most of what's German in America's car scene is tied to Euro plates, from what I read in those quotes...

The film was so dreadful that seeing a car never sold in the US on the Golden Gate Bridge was a welcome distraction as it gave me something else to think about.

This isn't really "Background" Car but while i was watching one of Angry Joe's "Angry Review" of Rocket League, i noticed that Joe was driving a Mitsubishi 3000GT during the Intro and 3000GT was also seen during the Outro as well.

I wonder if that's his real car.

Mako and Sayuki's Sileighty in Initial D: Legend 3! Technically a background car because they hadn't been introduced at this point.

My sister was watching Home Alone 4 from the TV the other day while I happened to be sitting in the same room reading a book. I can't say I spent too much attention to the movie itself but the Mk4 Fiesta, which appeared in a scene most likely set in America did catch my eye.
