So i feel this thread is going to be the hot one for a few days.

16 types of stock S2000 with only 2 variations (std and type v), this i dont get.

None of the GT2 classics we'd hoped for, Original Mini, DB6, Shelby GT500, Shelby Daytona etc...

Many PREMIUMS despite being advertised as such, do not actually take on damage.

Car customization extremely limited, weather and time transitions EXTREMELY limited.

LESS tracks than GT4, including some major ones, like Infineon and Motegi (COME ON these are 2 NASCAR venues), none of the ported tracks we hoped from GT4, Citta Di Aria, Amalfi, Opera Paris, George V, Seoul, NYC, Seattle(which has been there since day 1 practically).

Premium AZ, Cappuccino but NO BEAT??? How we gonna do ABC races like that?

I'm not even mad im just like meh, i see the huge improvements, the steps forward but why do we have to be the ffff guinea pigs, why couldnt we just have GT4 HD to keep our beaks whet?

A field full of red Ferarri F1's and standard Formula GT's despite obvious collabos with Red Bull and Mercedes....

that cant be the full car or track list, Kaz wouldn't just reveal all his cards and spill the beans to fans, he clearly said he wants to surprise us

First of all the track list totally sucks, to many of my favorite tracks from the past are gone

Secondly, no premium MKIV Supra, wtf is this. And you can't even change the rims on it. Damn

GT5 may have excellent physics, but unfortunately it seems that the GT-spirit is all gone. GT is not what it once was:(

Well, I placed 3 pre orders for this game last week to get the bonus cars including the collectors edition. All have been canceled. The car list is a huge let down. The tracks are no big deal to me but the time/weather availability is a complete joke. I guess I really am waiting for COD to go stale before I pick this thing up.

[SARCASM]Oh wow, what a surprise, the Pug 908 doesn't have its most current competitor available,
Surely its only coincidence that the PlayStation branded 908 is available but the R15(or R15 Plus) aren't available.[/SARCASM]
If your a racing/motorsports fan(not just driving) it seems Forza won the car list round, at least with Forza if it aint in in racing form, you can paint it.

I'm not even able to change the rims on this car.

Why PD, whyyyy!

WTF, Thers like 190 Premium Cars, 100 of those are Nascars and Super Gt cars...

Was so hard to make different versions of same car, as in example with the Skylines GTR, Premium Only?

And what happened to the Bugatti Veyron, Also dissappointed at Lamborghini Countach being Standard.

This frustrates me A LOT, The game has awesome Racing Modification, Body parts Upgrades and I believe Wheel dimension change, and can only Use it on like 45 Cars out of 1000....

Sigh, Expected a tad more....

Anyways, Hope they'll fix it in GT6.

Oh, Noticed the supra isnt Premium....THIS JUST SUCKS HARD, HARD

The carlist was a huge turn down, it was like finding out that the girl you flirted with last night turned out to be a man.

Wow, except the 458, 330P4 and F10 we have seen all of them. The SP1 and 430 Scuderia will exactly drive themselves like the original 430.
Im sure that the handling of the F10 will be very similar to the F2007 too.

And come on... Only 2 classic Ferrari`s (512BB and 330P4)?

Ferrari is all about racing, there aren`t many constructors who can look back at such a motorsport history (eventhough Renault, BMW, Mercedes, AutoUnion, etc are much older). If you include Ferrari, you have to include their famous race cars too. Only 2 F1 cars, both of them from our modern era. No turbo F1 car or pre-wing car. Only 1 LeMan car.

But 16 stock S2000, about 80 Skylines, dozens of NSX`s and 350Z.

^ I think you're right about this being a hot thread lol.

210 +/- premiums, but not the ones I'd pick ... ex. Bugatti Veryon = standard, what the hell?

Track list was a disappointment as well. Feels like we're getting a game that should have been a launch title in 2006/07. Given that we're nearing 2011 I was expecting much more.

i knew hoping for a F360 or F430 GT2 car was asking to much.

I would have paid the 60 dollars for this with 50 cars, the 24h Nordschliefe with Day/Night cycle, 3 more tracks, the fact it's on PSN instead of Live*. Everything else is just extra stuff to play with!

* That was not an attack against Forza. In my mind Forza and GT are two separate games that I enjoy, not just one or the other. I just don't like paying Microsoft to play online?

Maybe the Standards will have cockpit view??? ... There do seem to be some inconsistencies in the car list, like the F40 being Standard but in GTP it has a cockpit view. That news would raise my spirits!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Only 26 tracks!?!?!? Maybe 4 with time and another 4 with weather!?!?!? 7 premium Suzuki cars out of 15 and none of them is the Escudo!? Only old cars!?

i knew hoping for a F360 or F430 GT2 car was asking to much.

I know at least a 355 and a 550 Maranello, 2 90's instant classics, maybe the JGTC\SuperGT Ferraris too...:indiff:

@thehatter i think that just means no premium damage....the F40 was made of carbon fibre and plastic for the most part, i heard the doors weigh just 1kg each, so damaging this car isnt the hardest thing to do....HOwever, if we find out this car is TOTALLY standard as in no INterior Cockpit Modelling, that will be a serious WTF because we had it in prologue...

All RUFs standard! FUUUUUUUUUUU

No Citta di Aria, Midfield, Test Course

Epic fail dude, No matter how awesome it is, its GT4.9 at best, it'll never be 5. This is like if GT3 came out in 2004.

BTW what about that karting track

Not trying to downplay PD's hard work & effort, but is this all they really have to show for it?

What were they going to give us if they had released this at the end of 2009? Or on March 2010?

This dissapoints me the most... I mean a lot of cars is great, but tracks are the "level"s of a driving game and limiting those means you are limiting the longevity of the game.

And I REALLY wanted to drive Citta di Aria and Paris in GT5 glory... WHY LEAVE THOSE OUT!!!!????::ill:
