Honestly if i was ferrari I would buy out kimis contract and put Button in there if Mclaren don't sign him.
Well he would score double of kimi this year no issue in the same car so you sure about that. You might as well write "Honestly, if I had more money than sense..."
How long is Ferrari going to just keep flinging money at problems? They're already possibly in the position of having three drivers between two cars, and either way they're likely to have the most expensive driver line up on the grid (again).
If money was no object, then you might be right. But is Button worth paying his own salary AND Kimi's for a year? Is Button really that much better than Kimi? Both are world champions, both are older, very good drivers who excel when the car suits them and struggle when it doesn't. I don't see Button being enough better that you'd essentially pay double for him.
Yes there is unknown but he has easily outscored him in the Mclaren. and going by his past team mate history point wise would have him close to alonso. Can't say that Button would have scored more points than Kimi in the same car, it's a scenario of the unknown.
In a third car I would assume? Though doesn't that depend on who McLaren chooses for their race seats? I would be surprised if Jenson's future was sorted before McLaren make their choice.

Of course it's speculation but i wouldn't doubt half the grid could of done better then Kimi this year.

Lol Button fanboyism, what is this im just stating it as I see, Button isn't a fast driver lets clear this out of the way. But his ability to score points regardless of this fact is what makes him a good driver.I respect your Button fanboy-ism, but he is nowhere near Alonso. Button is 5 years past his prime, and I do think it's time for him to move on and make way for the new generation.
Same goes for Kimi, I have no idea why Ferrari are even keeping him.
If I were Ferrari I'd want to keep Alonso aside Vettel for 2016. And if I were McLaren, I would like to give Stoffel Vandoorne a chance in F1.
Uhhh Hamilton scored more points than him in 2010 and 2012....Keep in mind button scored more points then Hamilton in the 3 years they where team mates
yes whats your point.Uhhh Hamilton scored more points than him in 2010 and 2012....
Just correcting you, that's all.yes whats your point.
No your not, your just highlighting your comprehension fail.Just correcting you, that's all.
what did I fail in? You said Button scored more points than Hamilton did in the 3 years that they were teammates, That implies that he scored more in all 3 years, not 1.No your not, your just highlighting your comprehension fail.

You should have stated combined, what I assumed was that he scored more points in the 3 years Separate.but he did score more then him in the 3 years they where team mates: Overall points: Hamilton 657 / Button 672
That clears it ... you are not Ferrari!

@ Ferrari...... Really ?!?!?!?!![]()
I still think McLaren is Button's #1 option. Button has been fairly lukewarm when speaking about sportscar racing, so I don't think he would make himself available for a full season until the McLaren situation is sorted.???. Nissan haven't announced their drivers yet. There is a spot at Toyota available and why would McLaren have anything to do with it?
If I was being led a merry dance by McLaren you can bet that I would take my future into my hands and sign for someone else.

Drivers are human, they make mistakes and or can't keep consistent times.Races run over 200 miles. Points are awarded for the first driver (and then on) to reach the final distance marker, down to the tenth driver.
What you say therefore makes no sense at all. s=d/t.
Drivers are human, they make mistakes and or can't keep consistent times.
Buttons pace is not Fast but he is consistent and he keeps his pace that way though a whole race which is whats his advantage is.
HamiltonSo what are you saying... or by reverse example can you name a driver who is faster than Button (and therefore better, we'd infer) while being less 'consistent'?
in other words not being as fast but finishing more races with less incidents and errors. So what are you saying... or by reverse example can you name a driver who is faster than Button (and therefore better, we'd infer) while being less 'consistent'?
