Sadly even though the F&F series is obviously horrible I still feel as a car nut I MUST have it in my DVD collection (used prices of course)... :grumpy: I will not lower my standards down to Torque or Biker boyz though. :dopey:

Aw... come on... can you seriously tell me FnF2 was actually better than Biker Boyz?

Oh... okay, it was, but not much.

Who is going to be the "Drift King"? Unless keichii tsuchia is in this movie, then someone should sue them or something for stealing the name.

PERFECT BALANCE

They haven't stolen anything -- Tsuchiya is the dori kin. ;)

Actually I liked and still like F&F 1, although I am no ricer and although I don't like what these two films resulted in ( more ricers, vinyls and neon lights etc ).
I love Japan and especially Tokyo, that's why I'll go to the cinema and buy the DVD.
FF2 was not that great, pretty average, I hope it doesn't get worse this time...
As I said, I liked the first one, that's why the fact that FF3 is about the same, is a good thing. Add drifting and Tokyo and I am almost happy...

Fast and the Furious 3, hmm this should be interesting. The first one rules though, definetely better than 2F2F imo.

I just read an interesting article on the Japanese news site.

I guess Japanese signs lined up in the L.A. street for about 300 meters. The article said that Hollywood crew were filming scenes they couldn't film in Japan for a movie called "Wild Speed 3". I'm pretty sure they were talking about this movie.

Haha that could be true. Cool find. In Japan film crews don't get the permission to close puplic areas/streets for shooting a film. So it is really difficult to make films in Japan...Wasabi/Lost in Translation for example. All scenes in pulblic were shot be hidden cameras etc. I remember what they said in the making-of of Wasabi : The actors had to jump out of trucks and cars and quickly perform the -often very short- szene and then dissapear again. Then they had to change the location or wait for a certain amount of time.

While that makes every scene in puplic areas in Japan 100% authentic, it is a true disadvantage for movie producers.
I'd really like to see more scenes in Tokyo ( real locations: Shinjuku rainbow bridge, shutokou, wangan etc)with cars (racing action), but that is almost impossible I'm afraid.:grumpy:

all of those cars (even the damaged ones) are RHD. So sad... so sad... expensive wheels, authentic body kits (TOP SECRET and VEILSIDE) are smashed. Those orange and black RX-7's are sporting the Veilside Fortune Body kits... get this... retails for $10,000.00us.
 :tissue:

Most of your pics don't want to work, and shame they did that.

Hopefully, that RX-8 at least will see a body shop and not a junkyard.

Pfft... you guys should pay more attentin to FnF movies. It's a proven fact that a big wing gives you an extra 50 HP, stickers count for 25 HP (each), body kits lower your center of gravity, and large sub wofers reduce weight by vibrating off dust and unecessary parts.

Lol:lol:

Also: it ain't how you stand by your car, it's how big the wing is,
If the road suddenly narrows, drive under a truck,
No one likes the Tuna,
Live life a quater mile at a time (minus -17 seconds)
Leather-skin pants make you bad-ass,
Shooting a MAC-11 from a motorcycle isn't easy,
Pizza Boys don't like Streetracers,
Hoods and body-kits do not need paint,
Dual tailpipes are good, quad tailpipes are better,
If you scream 'NAWS", it will explode,
CAI adds 50hp, Exhaust Pipe adds 150hp,
You can beat any car if you say 'Smoke em", before you run,
Any scrap-heap can be made race-ready in under a week if the parts are ordered from ja-pan,
Owning a 'suppressed MAC-11' is a minor weapons violation,
And whatever you do, DON'T BLOW THE WELDS on the intake manifold!

Just some of my faves...:sly:

Oh God.... and SR20's are always the weapon of choice if you're driving an Integra...

Loved the last scene from FnF1... two supposedly ten second cars taking all of two frigging' minutes to do the quarter mile... hilarious.

Whell i think that they will destroy the passion of drifting, all the pressure and enjoyment when watching D1,Video Option or Best Motoring(or actually drift,or watch drifting in RL).Again, all the young folks are gonna start all the suddenly drifting.I hate that, and if some people tells me that i (maybe)started drifting in RL beacuse of FnF3(Initial D has the part in my life :D) i`m gonna be pissed. Here in Croatia after the FnF1,the import and street race scene gained their life,i think that`s good, but again, that brings more bad things then the good things IMHO.Drifting is not so alive in Croatia, not many people knows about Initial D and Best Motoring,D1GP etc.I think that Initial D Live Action Movie have the better value for watching it than FnF3,it is not good as a movie(screenplay etc.) but you can learn some stuff from it.IE,again i will mention Initial D :D(i`m booring again :D),i learnd some stuff from the anime, not to mention the BM and V-OPT videos 👍
FnF is that type of movie from wich you can learn how many Neon Lights you must have in your car to go faster, and that you need to have motorized amp holders in the trunk to have a good car,you can break-dance next to it!Bad product from FnF3(and Initial D) is that the Truenos are gonna be even more expensive(i heard that they are around 3-5k $ in US).But again that`s just my opinion!
Cheers!

GT Pro, they COULDNT drive under a truck. As you said, the big wing would prevent that.
Most of the cars look fine, but WHAT did they do to that Silvia (means forest in latin) and that rx7? (means nothing in latinl)

Oh my God, and the lead character shares my first name! :scared::yuck:

:yuck:. Now the commercial is out.
In it, Bow Wow says: 'Its called drift'n. The cars are lighter and the tires are slick.'
No, ****. DO go on, please. SOO interesting, I really didnt know that. Id LOVE to hear more!

No, his definition is the worst part.
"If you're not out of control, you ain't in control."

here's a nice sum up of all 3 movies.

http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/1331.html

here's a disclaimer he puts on his website about this video before people start to bash him about making fun of rice burners:

DISCLAIMER: Do not take these jokes too seriously. For example; The Fast and the Furious bit, I know you can make a lot of horsepower with foreign cars, I'm not an idiot. I own several foreign cars myself, including an 86 Mazda RX7 with a $2000 exhaust system that makes my car sound just like the ones I mock in the joke. It has performance suspension and little bit of HP as well, so yes...i get it. The joke is actually about the hockey pucks who put a muffler a wing and a JL Audio sticker on their car and think it's a "RACE CAR"!! So if your offended, I'm sure It's because you are that guy. Thank you.
