Thanks Teamdiablo, M3_CSL and Freddy:)

Here's part two. I tried to keep with a classic feel befitting the car.

wow!!!! now this is one of the reasons why you should not leave gtp. man! this new update is amazing. it looks like photos from an issue of Du Pont Registry magazine. well done!

Thanks jgda:)

Did another mini shoot last night, so I'll post them up now. Not the greatest, and the panorama was more an experiment for me than anything.

No blurs, no cleanup. Just some colouring, etc.

BMW 320i Touring Car

You've captured the essence of this car really nicely in the first shot!

Looking good mate, looking real good!! The Mercedes shots are very beautiful, great classic feeling.
The BMW has a nice look, soft colors and a very good quality!
Well done:tup:

Wow!! Awesome work on the Beemer, my only objection is that you call it 318? is´nt it 320i Touring Car :) Nice work 👍

Hell yeah! That 2nd shot of the sl is truly worth the glorious car...! Also the bmw is very nicely done. Great work. Great! 👍

Damn, I've been missing some updates in a few days, gotta catch up...

1st 300SL - I'm not lying when I say it's one of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen posted on this site. The colors, the reflections, the composition... Pure eye candy. 👍

B&W 300SL - I really like the way you got the reflections highlighted, showing all the car's lines. Only thing is the scenery is a bit dull, nothing really happening on the upper part of the image, with that wall and fence.

1st 320i touring - Great use of in-game blur, even unedited would be a great shot, and you've managed to make it look very realistic.
I like the overall desaturation of the image, and the way you darkened the whole bottom part, making the eye of the beholder ( I've heard this somewhere) look at precisely what you want to show. Very nice.

2nd 320i touring - Good panorama shot, it looks just like the sun's hitting hard on the car's pannels, but not looking as you blotted the image. Just the right amount.

3rd 320i touring - My least favorite, although I still like it, of course (it's just that every shot's so good that anything less than that and we start to point fingers...). Despite it's soft mood and ethereal realism, seems it could have a bit more contrast, but that's the only thing I find less atractive in it.

I always like coming here, it never lets me down.

Very Nice Shots:tup: they are pretty clean and have great angles, the 2nd is my favourite it is being spied on from in the trees:D

Thanks Ray. The shot was pretty good without editing, but I believe I did edit it well. This car just screams "take a picture of me at Nurburgring":D

lol, thanks for pointing that out. I thought I had it wrong when I called it a 318i.

Thanks freddy, glad you liked them.

Thanks Beerzy:) I was a little worried about the second BMW shot as I thought the car was a little too washed out. Thanks for your input on all the shots - it's greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Never thought about it being in the trees, but I guess you're right;)

now that's an impressive experiment. i specially love how the car looks on the second shot, well done mate!

Thanks jgda:)

Now, I'm aware this one isn't going to be for everyone ;) but I'm going to put it up anyway. The Spyker has an alien feel to it in my opinion so I took some inspiration from the artwork of H.R Giger for the coloring of this shot.

Again, I know it's not going to be for everyone and it's a bit of a departure for me from me regular shots, but honestly, this is the best I could make the car look ;) It's not very photogenic in the game imo.

B&W 300SL: Another brilliant piece of work, you have done a great job at capturing the car. Nice reflections and the B&W really adds the the classic feel.

BMW 320i Touring Car: Three sweet shots. Nice colour, I like how you use low saturation. Something you don't see too often. I also like the way you darken your shots. The first shot shows this well, great contrast between the foreground and background. I also love the simplistic feel to the third shot, very nicely done.

Spyker: You beat me to it, I have been planning on doing a update on this car for ages. It is a very interesting shot, the strong blurring of the back gives it a huge sense of speed. The green also adds to the strangeness of the shot. I don't like it nor do I hate it. It is interesting and different which is always good.
You'll have to check out what I do with it.

Once again, loving your work C_F and look forward to seeing more. 👍

Very nice spyker update, great sense of speed!
We did a spyker update on the exact same date, how is that?

Damn, that's an ugly car!

I thought once or twice about shooting it (dead), but when I'm about to do it I lose interest since it's just butt ugly.

It looks nicer with the blur, in fact. You managed to 'hide' the ugliest parts of it. 👍
I like the green tone on the side glass, almost the only coloured part of the image.

Only it doesn't look too 'Gigeresque', Cod. It had to be a sharper, more detailed shot, and maybe swap the green over some softer tone...
Have you seen my avatar? :sly:

Nonetheless, I'll give it to you. Shooting that car (and posting it) requires major ballz.

Well...a spyker. First of all: this is a very difficult car to take pictures of. Especially the back is so difficult to get to look right. What you did with your shot is quite impressive. You made it look really cool, although that making half the car blurred is always a tricky one and seldom looks good. You also made the background look really nice. Looks arty! I also like the mature tone you've put into the shot.

After long talk: great shot!! 👍

Great Spyker shot C_F!!! The blur is brutal!!!
Quite a rare car around here, nice choice:tup:
Love your style, keep up!!

Thanks guys. I'll try to get a new update soon. I've been too busy trying to fix our racing website so I decided to just make a new one. Needs some bugs ironed out, but it's going well.

it seems a bit unusual seeing something like that from you, but it does have an artistic feel to it. it's almost the same concept as the brembo brakes poster that i have hanging in my room, where almost half of the car is blurred.
i see lots of photos like that whenever i flip thru the pages of my favorite F1 Racing magazine. i like what you did with it really, and the green tint on the window does give it an alien feel, but the car reminds me more of basic instinct 2. it's just sad the car ended up crashing into the water :D i've always wanted to do an update of that. maybe when i get a new usb stick, i'll give it a try.

The only thing I like in this update is the lighting, anyway please check out my latest update Cod_Father.

Hey guys. It's been a couple days since my last update so i decided to look through my previous GT4 shots and pick out some that I hadn't edited before (or at least that I can remember anyway;)). These are all quickies done this morning. I didn't go for a lot of clean up and just worked with what I had in the shot.

Remember to click on each for a full size picture.

Very nice stuff mate, as always quality is present, and very cool captures.
U are one of the best around here IMO, so hope to see U here for a long time:)

Dodge Ram - Pure C_D. Minimalism done with art, lighting is just gorgeous, specially on the hood panel that's facing the light.

Celica - My least favorite. Although the composition is great, it's a 'normal' shot. Well done of course, but it does not have anything that makes it stand out, imo. The car itself looks really good though.

Impreza - Another pearl. The soft focus really sets the mood on this one, brilliantly composed, almost like a painting. It's a shame the front of the car isn't totally focused, but not a big problem considering the rest is awesome. Good use of noise too, I can never get mine to look like that.

RX7 - Pure Codness. The color balancing has C_F all over it, it's beautiful. Again, the composition is flawless. All hail C_F, king of realism!!!

Saleen - Very nice shot overall, I like the B&W dark mood. The car looks very clean with some nice reflections on the left side.
Good vignetting too (as always), but you left the watermark partially sticking out as you clone-stamped it

Awesome work overall, Cod. All simple and beautiful.

Stop by my gallery if you have the time.

those are great simple shots mate. the ram looks a lot like a ghostly figure.
the celica looks like a lot of fun!the subaru reminds me a lot of my E90 update in the same location a long time ago, looks good though. great drifting shot of the rx7 too, with the lighting and tone being so greatly centered on the car, just adds a lot more to the photo and the action, giving it a bit of a dramatic feel. the saleen is very well done as well. great work !!

More lovely shots from you C_F, always enjoy visiting your gallery.

Ram: Awesome lighting, reminds me of your sweet lotus shot. I like how you made it B&W too.

Celica: I like this shot, looking good in B&W also. It is a interesting angle and I like how you can see where the car has come from and all the dust in the bg. Did you add any dust to the shot?

Impreza: Another sweet B&W shot, but I am wondering what the coloured version of this shot would be like. It is a very soft shot, good addition of noise. Not too little and not too much.

RX-7: Awesome colours, loving the desaturated look. Really makes the yellow stand out. Also very nice vignetting as always and great angle.

S7: The car looks superb in this shot, sweet lighting and colour too. It has great tone and mood to it. Great use of vignetting once again.

Love your work C_F and as always look forward to your next batch of shots. 👍

Thanks guys. Yeah, I did add some "dust" to the celica shot. The in game dust trail was there but was incomplete in a couple of areas. I did it the cheap way (same way I add smoke), but I thought it was effective.

The impreza shot in colour doesn't really have a whole lot of colour. I cheated with that one and used an action I downloaded from Adobe exhange. It's called Nude B&W. It works well in portraits and sometimes works really well in GT4. I've had more success with it in TT shots though. because I said that I'll put up some TT shots as an example ;) (some have less noise). The second shot had the B&W action done over another effect.

The RX7 has an issue on the roof of the car and I was too lazy to fix it yesterday. I had desaturated the entire picture and then used the saturate brush to bring back the yellow and it brought out a bad texture in the roof. oh well;) It's also from a photoshoot I did near the beginning of my gallery.

I'll see about getting a new photoshoot done soon guys. Right now I'm excited to see all the entries in the photomode tournament!

U are great (U already know that I know), but everytime I come here I just see fantastic shots from U.
Great captures, quite real IMO. The last one has a good classic look, which I love of course.
It would be great to have U in the Tournament, but who knows, maybe next time U can enter, and bring us your impressive good looking shots:)

that last photo is stunning! it looks like a real picture almost. jeez. whatever that is you downloaded i wanna try out too. great work c_f!

The RAM gosth is nice and the RX7 is simply :drool: It looks sooo real

The rest are very nice too, as always, good job :)

Thanks NTX. Such kind words:) I wouldn't rank myself as "great" though. Adequate would be a better word:) There are many others on here that are far better than me.

Thanks jgda. I'm looking forward to seeing if you use the action ;) It's quite a nice effect.

Thanks Arathorn:)

I decided to put up another of the Audi S4 shots I did a short while ago. I know it could probably use a little more contrast but I didn't want to lose the car into the background. I'm happy with the look I got with the reflection in the windshield. Hope you guys enjoy.
