U really should enter the comps again (I know I´m always saying this, but your shots are truly shots of a champion).
That shot is so good!!! U have used a great blur, really follows the car direction well. And of course, lovely shiny look!!!

A big WOW.

Awesome, very awesome pic. I thought some little lighting details could be subtle forced, like headlight in the shadowed area of the car. But that's all, even now I think it's perfect. The reflections are so effective... so lovely! I'm guessing a big part of your method, specially in this shot, is how using the dodge tool in shadow mode. It's like you've cleaned some car areas at the same time you was adding amazing effects.

What can I say. The brilliant reflection over the windscreen is one of the most important points for me. Just... brutal! Lucky you have not left the photomode as you liked in the past :scared:

Thanks alex. I'm not totally comfortable with the dodge tool, so I use it in highlight mode almost all the time. I've had this shot for a while now (and a sister shot that I may work on soon) and decided to put it up since it's been a couple days since the last update. Glad you liked it:)

On to the next update. A TVR Speed 12. I tried to capture the brutish nature of this beast. Such a handful with stock settings and no aids. Heck, even with driving aids left in stock form the car will spin R5 tires into 4th gear at full throttle. Nothing like 227 mph on the mulsanne straight and the front wheels getting air on the bumps.

The second shot could have been really good if I could have cleaned up the right side. The blur is also a little off in the third shot as I should have just eyed up the vanishing point instead of using the barrier on the side.

The last one is just one of those artsy shots:)

When I saw that you had an update with the tvr speed 12 I thought: no! I don't like the looks of this car. But in this update it looks awesome. You really did a great job on the blur, clean ups etc.

those are insane photos CF! you're just great !!! i still havent tried out that process you are using. been kinda lazy and busy at the same time that i forgot i had it. those artistic shots are awesome! the Z update is looking real smooth too. my favorite has to be the speed 12 shots. such brute force being exposed in those shots. i love the tone and emotion you put into your photos. they're just so omnipresent it's great. i dont know where it comes from, but i know it's there. and i think that's very important, and you do it very well. keep updating man! i'm hoping to see more from you soon, i almost kicked myself for not being here for a long time. great work man!!

I was quite happy with the photos of the Speed 12 as I don't usually get good shots at La Sarthe.

Anyone have any requests? I've got some ideas in my head for future shots, but if anyone has anything they'd like to see I'd be happy to given it a go.
 
Very awesome indeed! You're the master tone man! All of them are very interesting, but I went with two last ones. The frontal TVR is so well done... and the pure artistic image is cool too hehe. I'm looking forward to see more stuff!

The 2nd shot and third shots area really lush, but the third shot would look great on my desktop.
 
Great as always, Cod.

The Z4 has a great mood, the verall softness and subtle sepia tone really work. Looks very clean and the blur is next to perfect. Great reflections on the car too.

The Speed12 shots all good good, but I especially like the 3rd one, even though the blur seems a bit off on the road. But the tarmac looks great, very textured and realistic.
The 2nd shot like you said could use some cleaning, but has a very nice angle.

Tones are beautiful in all of them, you really do a great job on that in every shot you post here.

The artistic looks good too, some of it almost looks finger-painted.
 
Well like I love requests, I wanna make this one, Nissan 350Z, the convertable version if possible. Ok?!:)

but the blur center should be moving to the left a bit
because your camera aligns to left side of the car

Franz: Thanks for visiting:) I realized the blur was a bit off after I had uploaded the shot. I should go back and fix it but I can't remember exactly what I did to get the shot to look the way it does:D

Love it mate!!! Very simple, but at the same time, very stylish!!! Glad U use a dark tone, like it a lot!!
The angle is also quite good, captures well the car, even with the dark tone!!!
So hope to see more, and it would be great if U can do "part 2" of this request. Thanks mate:)
 
Nice to see more work. I'd have deleted some blur in far area of the tarmac, because the rest is like a film feeling or something, quite realistic in terms of lights and more.

The second one is amazing again, very effective using simple elements. It is not a very popular style, and much difficult than it could seem.

Awesome work on the TVR and the 350, I have a requset for you man!, put up a nice M3 -04 from El Capitan in the CCCL comp this week ;) I love to see what you can do with the 2.0 rules that we have this week. :cheers:

WOW mate!!! I like it a lot!!! Again with the dark tone, but looks very realistic, and U problably know that I love realistic "feeling", because thats the base for doing my shots. And the colors are so soft, another thing that I like to see. U done a superb job with this car, thank U Tony:)

you just never seize to amaze me. those updates are hella hot! i specially love the speed 12, the last one. the 350 Z shots are great too! specially the first one. great work man!
