I will have.....a nice piece of cod and some chips please.
Really nice shots I love how you have managed to get that frontal shot so clean especially as it is on not the best textured car in the world. Both shots are gorgeous! Check out my gallery if you have time.

hm ... you didnt have the second picture when i last came through. looks good though i still prefer the first 👍 specially since it isnt over blurred 👍

Great pics of a great car.
Love the first one!

Damn, you work fast!
You're putting awesome updates with only a couple of days apart! 👍

Did you do any cleaning on the car in any of the shots? It looks gorgeous, especially on the 2nd.
The blur on the 1st shot is great, the way you got if fading throughtout the image. Also, the slightly blurred background (especially that tower on the back) gives it a nice sense of depth. Also, nice smooth natural colors.

On the 2nd, the wheel seems to be almost stopped (at least to me), but other than that it's beautiful. The fence on the back looks great, and the car is even better.
How didi you got those highlights on the car, specifically on the left panels? did you dodged them or were they already like that? Looks great, like sunlight hitting strong, very realistic.

Thank [es] :) Glad you liked them.

I like cod... it's good. Growing up in Newfoundland also leads to a healthy appreciation of seafood though:D I didn't do a whole lot of cleaning on the frontal shot, just near the headlights and the trim around with windshield. Both were really clean when I started.

Owww amazing stuff mate !

Thanks jeremy:)

Great pics of a great car.

Thanks JJ64. The camaro is a nice looking car. I was inspired to take it out for a spin again after seeing a recent shot in another gallery here.

Hey Beerz, I'm happy with the way the first shot developed. I blurred the road using the regular radial blur and then blurred the left side off the road a bit. The background was blurred using a diffuse effect. Overall I think it came out well. I didn't want to blur the sky in that shot as it wouldn't look natural.

As for the second shot, you're right about the wheel, it isn't moving. I took it at a higher shutter speed but set the F stop to a lower value, hence the fence being distorted. I didn't do a whole lot to it except soften it a bit. The desaturated coloring is from the game.

Damm...that Camaro is hot in both shots!! The "brutal" looking its all there, U captured that real nice!! Also, the 2nd shot is quite real!!
Well done once again mate:)

Amazing amazing. I love the metallic feeling of the bonet the most, but overall they are great. As always! Yeah, hope to see more! :)

Wow! That 2nd shot is my favourite. You really took a shot worthy of this muscular car. Great. 👍

Awesome shots, very smooth finish.

I really love the lighting in the last shot.

That first shot is gorgeous. It looks very realistic.

I guess I can consider the camaro shots a hit? :D Thanks guys.

The following update are just some random shots that I've done but haven't uploaded until now.

Now that I look at them I realize they are all black and whites. Well, the sauber is supposed to be mimicking a pencil drawing...

Wow, lovely. Especially the R33, the shine on the hood is brilliant!
Wish you brought a bbw update too

Very nice work, Cod!
1st one could be even better if the wheels had more motion in them, they're a bit 'slow', imo.

2nd shot is truly original and different, I really like it. Love the super close up, the details all there for me to look, and the subtle glow really makes it work very well. Great blur on the background as well. 👍

3rd shot is gorgeous! Did you use lighting effects on that hood? It really grabs attention, very nice.

I like these B&W shots!!! Specially the Sauber and the 400R shots!!! The 270R is cool, but some sense of speed would look even more cooler.
Good to see that U won a competition C_F, so I hope to see U in more future comps:tup:

Very nice work! Looks like if you want a great B&W shot, The Fish Shop is the plaice to be... 👍

Nice ones cod, I really liked how you tried to make the sauber look like a pencil drawing. That detail gives makes it even more a really unique pic.

👍

I never get dissapointed at the fish shop cod. The nismo 270r really fits bw imo. The angle with the nice background is really well picked but the wheels are a bit too static.
The c9 is really great! Just love the unique capture.
The 400r is also very nice. I like the dark and bright tones in it. The hood really caught my eye which suits this car really well because of its special hoodscoop.

cheers

I was amazed when I saw your pics ,it looks very professional stuff and I want to learn some more from you.

Black and white is the new hipe! nice dude. i like the Sauber 👍

Very cool work. The drawing feeling is pretty accurate. Only the GT focal blur could be difficult to do with a pencil LOL.

Thanks Beerz. The 270R was all GT4 blur. I thought it looked good enough without messing with it too much:) The Sauber shot was one I've had for a while but never knew what to do with it. I remembered the pencil technique I used a few times on some TT shots and it came out good on the Sauber. I fixed a few jaggies and voila:)

The 400R has a diffuse glow which mainly focused on the hood for some reason (still haven't figured out how that diffuse glow works really).

Thanks NTX. The comp was close and could have gone either way between you and I.

It's just a little smelly at times though;) lol. Thanks for dropping by Touring Mars. When will we get a new update from you? I like your work.

THanks Vince. I'll post up the technique for the pencil drawing sometime this weekend. It's quite simple and can make many pictures look very cool.

Thanks Freddy:) I have some TT b&w's I may upload over the weekend. A few of them were potentials for the week 6 contest (and by looking at the votes right now I should have gone with something else;)). I look forward to your thoughts on those when I get them up.

I was amazed when I saw your pics ,it looks very professional stuff and I want to learn some more from you.

Thanks shangood. I don't know if my shots are professional or not, but thanks:) If you have any questions feel free to drop me a PM.

Sure, just wet your thumb and rub it over the ares you want blurred;) lol. That's what one of my artist friends used to do anyway :)

Thanks jgda:) Did you download the action? I can't remember which folder you put it in in PS but I can find out tonight and get some instructions to you. That and I'll put up the pencil drawing tutorial.

Just a quickie tonight. I'll try to get the tutorial up this weekend on the pencil drawing.
