So, what do YOU think about genetic alterations, the kinds of foods we eat, etc.?

Ok, here is my ideas:

1. Genetically altered food is no new thing.
2. Plants are genetically altered, ie. selective breeding fertalizers
3. So are animals.
4. I have talked to serveral people in biological sciences, studying this, and there is NO possibilty that there is anything harmful about these genetically enhanced foods for humans. There is a problem if they ever spread though. But for ingestion they are a ok.

One environmental group STOPED the sending of genetically enhanced rice, and crops to the 3rd world countries. That crop included safeguards like desease protected, little water needed, and VAST harvests.

Geneticly altered is fine, as long as it doesnt get anyone sick, or messes up the food chain. We wouldnt want Flounder eating Sharks would we?

Well, those ARE the problem... one side effect of some genetically altered foods is that they're causing people to get viruses that are resistant to antibiotics, and because of that, some people have died. Also, in the caption of the two fish, the scientist says that there's a possibility that if the genetically altered fish reproduce with the other fish, there will be mega-salmon in the waters that would eat up the smaller ones, and thus could destroy the balance...
