I am surprised to see a sprint race in Singapore.
It's a baffling circuit to have a sprint race on, doubly so at that time of day.
Personally, I think the following should be the Sprint circuits:
Miami
Montreal
Red Bull Ring
Zandvoort
Monza
Sao Paolo
Obviously with Zandvoort leaving the calendar after next season, replace it with probably Austin. If one of Hockenheim, Istanbul Park or Portimao returns then one of those.
I think the sprint races should be on circuits that already generate good racing or are shorter circuits that can give the illusion of more action due to the cars being closer together for longer. Miami and Monza are outliers to this, Miami is a better circuit than it gets credit for and the sprints there have been pretty good, and Monza is usuallly quite exciting for the first 1/4-1/3 of the race.
If the 2026 regulations do what they're supposed to do, the sprints should naturally be more exciting anyway.
Moving forward, I've never been opposed to the idea of reverse grid races, You could have FP1 and FP2 on Friday as normal, Saturday morning qualifying and then reverse the top 10 (i.e. Q3) for the Sprint which would then be Saturday afternoon. Sunday GP as normal. No need for 2 qualifying sessions and people who like watching practice effectively get an extra session to watch.
