Somebody asked if I was interested in running a marathon. I laughed and said "no way".

Then they told me it was for disabled kids.
I thought "**** it, I could probably win that".

I passed a candy-selling fundraiser recently (or not as recently as it seems, because it was definitely pre-COVID...yeesh) and asked the kids what they were raising money for. One said, "Cancer." I replied, "Oh, I'm afraid I'll have to pass. I'm against cancer." Then I grinned and bought a couple bars.
