The future of spectating?

I like this. I've never been to a Grand Prix meeting, but I have to admit that sometimes the telecast isn't spectacular. Take this year's Bahrain for example; while the cameras focused maingly on the Massa-Hamilton and Alonso-Raikkonen battler, David Coulthard was powering his way through the field, proving overtaking isn't a lost art. The ITV broadcast never stayed with him for long, so we never got to see it, but from the looks of things, these handsets can let you follow the action anywhere.

And we can't watch F1 like that online, why?

You used to be able to with pay per view F1 on Sky tv here a couple of years ago. It was £12 for the whole weekend but anytime anything was on track (support races etc.) you got coverage. It lasted 1 season before they canned it.

Mclaren use them in their garage.
