Kent, MR is only 5 episodes long and the anime was very good. But lately, I have been looking for a good fighter anime . Tengho Tenge seems only to attract teenagers and I have been lookin for Street Fighter Alpha movie.

Yes The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi was a great anime and so was Death Note. I havent been doing anything except attempting to get up to Episode 128 of Bleach (Im pretty close; 17 more to go)

I used to watch a lot of anime, but right now there's just one that i'm going to watch and that is wangan midnight. I already read the manga and i'm really happy that the made an anime series.

I heard Bleach and the Chronicles of Umazaki Naurto is good. the Wangan Anime is good also to watch. I am looking at old MS08th Team vs Gouf Episode ^^.

I was watching FUSE this afternoon and much to my surprise they were playing Anime. I have no idea what one it was (some school with a small white kid, and a big black guy, and some girls with nice boobs), but it was interesting to say the least.

I still want Adult Swim to bring back some of the seriously old-school Anime, but I have no idea how long it would take to have that happen. I dearly miss Outlaw Star, Big O, and hell, even Gundam Wing.

Tenjho Tenge? Real Bout Highschool? Battle vixens?

I love the Wangan Midnight anime. Looks more interesting than Initial D. At least Akio will crashes/looses races. We always expect that Takumi will win, it's boring. Looking foward for episodes!👍

I'm a huge fan of anime! I've been watching it since Gundam Wing on Toonami! Eureka Seven is an awsome series, but at some points it got to mushy for me.One anime I recomend is Elfen Lied. It is an amazing series!Warning, there is a lot of nudity and gore....

A Movie I recommend is End Of Evangelion. It is the ultimate head trip>

Paranoia Agent is about some kid with golden baseball bat and skates. Well, he only attacks certain victims for various reason but mainly stress to a point of suicidal attempts.

Evangelion is just a dream made from Shinji.Rei is shown as a procrastinator, everybody loves Misato and because she is always late. Asuka is Shinji's best friend who likes him. Gendo(very lazy) and Yui are there always fighting. But really everything was made from Greek gods( Evangelion units and angels) and Tree of Life( Hebrew religion I think ) and its episode 26. Hence they created NGE : Angelic Days
If you want the EP link just PM Me or message me

I heard about Angelic Days. That reminded me of the last episode of NGE. It was kinda of depressing seeing what their lives could have been like. To bad they were all screwed in End of Evangelion

This is how big Melancholy is in JPN and I am scared on how USA is going to respond with this anime coming here already.

Heh, I don't think that's exclusive to Haruhi even, though, as the Lucky Star opening seems just as popular. Observe:

25 parodies into one - dizzying, isn't it? :scared:

Although the Michael Jackson one is the most amusing - and very well-synched - one, for me.

Not sure if this is a testament to Kyoto Animation, or just to insane dancing scenes in general. Although I won't doubt that maybe people are just crazy about Haruhi; I should be guilty of falling to that side as well. Wonder how well the US DVDs are selling compared to the usual anime releases.

On a sane note, I've just picked up Wangan Midnight as well. It seems interesting enough, especially if Akio is not as cheap a character as Takumi was (never watched the Initial D anime to be honest, I only follow what the library has of the English manga). After the first episode, I also look forward to figuring out the Devil Z, as thinking about it makes me confused. It's registered to Akio Asakura - or at least, a different one with the same name? Who died in a previous crash - there was a voice shouting "Asakura!!" at the flashback scene of the crash? And why, 5 minutes into the anime, was Akio driving the Devil Z before he even bought it?

For some reason this is setting me up as some weird sci-fi time loop paradox thingy, although it really probably just is a racing anime at heart. I'm just confused due to lack of knowledge - all I've ever done is play the arcade game. :)

Well, I think that anime is now going into a dancing period... As for Wangan, you could read the Wiki Article on that. I only played the game and have one volume of the Manga.

I had to laugh:lol:. I always love to see Japanese's at work lol:D

BTW, whats wrong with Initial D. It's fun:D

Tenjho Tenge? Real Bout Highschool? Battle vixens?

I looked into it, its Tenjho Tenge.

...Its an odd show, and I have no idea whats going on...

Most of my Anime still comes from Cartoon Network, although I hear there is a FUNImation channel here in the US now, which has a lot of my previous favorites, but it is unavailable on Comcast. Crap.

I was clicking around on the interwebs, and I had completely forgotten about the show Tenchi Muyo. That was an odd show that I did enjoy for some time... Hot Anime chicks abound (if I recall correctly)!

I hear Shin-Chan is on hiatus on Adult Swim now. I love the show, and it would be a disappointment if they killed it...

I had the Funimation channel when we dualed up digital cable and DirectTV, and in my opinion no one is missing much. All it really had that I can remember was the terrible Tenchi Muyo GXP and Case Closed/Conan the Detective. Seeing Case Closed was great, but I realised that I could just as easily buy DVDs. And Tenchi Muyo GXP made me cry inside.
YSSMAN

Yes. Yes you did. If you look, many of the dubbed episodes may be on YouTube still. (Edit: After looking, no they aren't) Watching them on YouTube gave me enough pretext to buy Universe and in Tokyo on DVD.

Those are the ones...

I still don't understand much of the show though.

Wikipedia
For most of their lives, Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara have been able to take over a school by fighting and beating everyone. Their first day at Todou Academy started as any other new school, they start taking it over by beating up everyone that got in their way. Not until Maya Natsume and Masataka Takayanagi showed up did they realize that this was no ordinary school. This was a school where people have powerful techniques, uncanny skill. They also learned that the ruling Enforcement Group, lead by Mitsuomi Takayanagi, is not to be taken lightly and are not tolerant of their disturbance. In order to get back at the Enforcement group, Souichiro and Bob join the Juuken Club which is the only surviving group that opposes them. The more the two groups interact, the more they begin to realize they are trapped in a conflict they know little about.
You can always look it up but then again..the spoilers...
I never like GPX, but my favorite Tenchi series was Tenchi in Tokyo.

Wow, I haven't watched Tenchi Muyo,or any of it's spin offs recently. I remembered when I was 10 being really jealous of that dude.....

I also saw that show called "Lucky Star". It reminds me of Azumanga Dioh, but if you drowned it with "Moe sauce". I mean 1 charater is like some people would call, "the perfect moe".It's pretty funny, and random.

Wing Zero vs. Epyon (Gundam Wing)
Wing Zero Custom vs. Nakaku Custom (Endless Waltz)
Deathsythe H's debut
The final battle (endless Waltz)
08th MS team's final battle

I can't remember the other fights form the other series because it has been so long since I've seen them.

I just about died when I saw that parody just then! XD

I really think any of the Gundam Wing fights were worth it, particularly towards the end of the run, particularly the last two or three episodes.

...I miss that show...
