Tenjho Tenge? Real Bout Highschool? Battle vixens?I was watching FUSE this afternoon and much to my surprise they were playing Anime. I have no idea what one it was (some school with a small white kid, and a big black guy, and some girls with nice boobs), but it was interesting to say the least.
Does someone maybe know when new Initial D episodes will arrive?

This is how big Melancholy is in JPN and I am scared on how USA is going to respond with this anime coming here already.
Heh, I don't think that's exclusive to Haruhi even, though, as the Lucky Star opening seems just as popular. Observe:
25 parodies into one - dizzying, isn't it?![]()
Although the Michael Jackson one is the most amusing - and very well-synched - one, for me.
Not sure if this is a testament to Kyoto Animation, or just to insane dancing scenes in general. Although I won't doubt that maybe people are just crazy about Haruhi; I should be guilty of falling to that side as well. Wonder how well the US DVDs are selling compared to the usual anime releases.
On a sane note, I've just picked up Wangan Midnight as well. It seems interesting enough, especially if Akio is not as cheap a character as Takumi was (never watched the Initial D anime to be honest, I only follow what the library has of the English manga). After the first episode, I also look forward to figuring out the Devil Z, as thinking about it makes me confused. It's registered to Akio Asakura - or at least, a different one with the same name? Who died in a previous crash - there was a voice shouting "Asakura!!" at the flashback scene of the crash? And why, 5 minutes into the anime, was Akio driving the Devil Z before he even bought it?
For some reason this is setting me up as some weird sci-fi time loop paradox thingy, although it really probably just is a racing anime at heart. I'm just confused due to lack of knowledge - all I've ever done is play the arcade game.![]()
Tenjho Tenge? Real Bout Highschool? Battle vixens?
Did the girls look like this?
I had the Funimation channel when we dualed up digital cable and DirectTV, and in my opinion no one is missing much. All it really had that I can remember was the terrible Tenchi Muyo GXP and Case Closed/Conan the Detective. Seeing Case Closed was great, but I realised that I could just as easily buy DVDs. And Tenchi Muyo GXP made me cry inside. Most of my Anime still comes from Cartoon Network, although I hear there is a FUNImation channel here in the US now, which has a lot of my previous favorites, but it is unavailable on Comcast. Crap.
Yes. Yes you did. If you look, many of the dubbed episodes may be on YouTube still. (Edit: After looking, no they aren't) Watching them on YouTube gave me enough pretext to buy Universe and in Tokyo on DVD.YSSMANI had completely forgotten about the show Tenchi Muyo. That was an odd show that I did enjoy for some time... Hot Anime chicks abound (if I recall correctly)!
Those are the ones...
I still don't understand much of the show though.
You can always look it up but then again..the spoilers...WikipediaFor most of their lives, Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara have been able to take over a school by fighting and beating everyone. Their first day at Todou Academy started as any other new school, they start taking it over by beating up everyone that got in their way. Not until Maya Natsume and Masataka Takayanagi showed up did they realize that this was no ordinary school. This was a school where people have powerful techniques, uncanny skill. They also learned that the ruling Enforcement Group, lead by Mitsuomi Takayanagi, is not to be taken lightly and are not tolerant of their disturbance. In order to get back at the Enforcement group, Souichiro and Bob join the Juuken Club which is the only surviving group that opposes them. The more the two groups interact, the more they begin to realize they are trapped in a conflict they know little about.
