I've been watching Code Geass, and it seems a lot like Death Note but with mechs.

^ ya, I was just reading somewhere else that there's a lot in common between those two series, plot and mood wise. I haven't seen Code Geass yet, but it's going on my to do list

Oh! and so is Basilisk. Started that one when it was airing and then lost track of it at ep 7 when a few subbers dropped it.

-> Oddly enough I just started on watching Bleach 3weeks ago. Now I'm at ep.82 now, not bad for a guy who has two jobs. :D

Finished Code Geass. There are some really awesome twists towards the end, and the series ends on a huge cliffhanger. Roll on the 6th of April. :)

Anyone catch the first half of episode 47? (I think that's what's going on)...

Sasuke is back in the picture and it looks like Feb.28th's episode 47 will put Naruto and Sasuke in the same room (probably just like the opening footage of the earlier Shippuden episodes.

I suggest everyone watch it if possible. 👍
Likewise for the next episode.

Btw, I noticed that naruto's daily showing seems to be right towards the end of the series, maybe as far as 215 or more. Sasuke and Naruto are definately fighting. 👍

Starting Diebuster now, then I'll move on to FLCL and watch some others on my list. Should be fun.

And who here reads the Bleach manga? Kenpachi's power up is facepalm.jpg worthy.

Not sure who's keeping up with Naruto Shippuden but it's looking better and better. Caught episode 48 today and even though I was disappointed by the lack of a sasuke appearance it's obvious that issue is going to be addressed soon. 👍

Also, I saw something on the net that interest me. Looks like there may be a very, very interesting fight coming up involving this guy... ;)

A friend of mine who runs a anime club in Delaware told me about this website the lets you log all the anime you have watched and all the manga you have read through. It is called MyAnimeList.net and I have been on there since December of last year.

Maybe we can form a club on there as well? If so, I can set one up.;) How does GTPlanet Anime Fans sound to you?:D

Well, I just watched the most recent episode of Shippuden. 👍
Nothing really special happend and I'm not going to give away the story of the episode since I don't believe in un-requested spoilers.

However, I will say this much...

Next week will see the release of a double episode in which Sasuke and Naruto will meet again.

The opening scene from the first episode as well as the meeting shown in the opening of every episode... That's next week. :trouble:

I can't wait!

Glad to hear you're keeping up with Naruto.

Now... Has anyone caught deathnote lately?
What happened... I saw the opening tonight and it was hard, hard metal. I'm not used to hearing that sort of metal out of the opening song to an anime

Really makes me wonder what direction the series is going.

Now... Has anyone caught deathnote lately?

I watched it about a month ago. I'd recommend sticking with it, it's pretty awesome. Good mix of action and thriller/suspense that you don't see in anime very often.

Sounds like Shippuuden is heating up even more. I left off on ep 47.
Gonna wait for ep52 to come out before I watch anymore of it though, just so I can finish the season all at once with no big cliffhangers.

Gonna finish Capeta today  8 eps to go

Glad to hear you're keeping up with Naruto.

That opening is awesome. Very ballsy for an anime intro.

hmm, ending to Capeta sucked.
It could've used a third season to really flesh things out. Instead, it ended right when it was getting interesting - and they resolved the main conflict of the entire series in an ULTRA-cheezy two minute afterthought during the final credits.

Lame. :irked:

Yeah I still watch Naruto every time they bring out a new episode:tup:.
And as for DeathNote, the opening is a little weird now but the anime is good:tup:.

Eureka 7 syndrome strikes again! :dunce:

Eureka 7 is still worse ;) I'm saying Capeta should've been longer - quite the opposite of how I felt about the last dozen eps of Eureka 7.

Yeah yeah, I am just referencing where they make everything crap on itself in the last half of the last episode type deal. They could have done a lot with E7 to make it better, like explaining the mecha frames and crap.

The more I think about it, the less I like E7 💡

I got to watch shippuden this morning and I'm happy to see they are finally getting somewhere. It's good to see what's going on and I can't wait for the next couple of episodes. It's another back to back coming to us in April.
I can't wait!

Btw, the two that came out yesterday are good. 👍

another damn cliffhanger.. and they hardly showed anything new that wasn't seen in the opening episode.

Ghostin the Shell 1&2
Demon City
Robotech
Gundam (all except seed)
Patlabor
Initial D
Wangan
Naruto (just getting into it)
Blue Dragon(soon willbeon CN)
Ninja Scroll

And I cant remember anymore andim not at homeso I cant list my collection off the top of my head. Im currently on the market for the complete JPN Initial D Stages 1-4 though.
By the way: There was anime driving series I rented when I was younger that involved a Caterham 7, and another Lotus I cant rememberwhat it was. Isaw it around the sametime Sega GT released and it was pretty new then. Anyone knowwhat im talking about.

Edit: you can see im more into the realisticaction movie type films.., (and a lil bitof gore lol)

^ I believe you were relating to EX-Driver:

^ The series has the Impreza 22B, Catherham 7, Lotus Europa, and a Lancia Stratos. ;)

Anime Movies-> In regards to anime movies, I highly recommend Grave of the Fireflies. ;)

^ It was good good it made me cry! :)👍

Heh, I saw eX-D about a year or so ago, thanks to a friend telling me about it. Was pretty cool if I say so myself. I also tend to like more realist anime, but stuff like Bleach and Naruto provides me with entertainment too :p

Yes Ex Driver thats it. Ive been looking for it for a couple years now with no luck. But now since I actually know the title :dopey: I should have better luck:tup:

Grave of the Fireflies is pretty good. It was hard to find though, for download or for purchase, in my experience.

^ Go to any 'Netflix' type online anime sites like these:

^ I rented the movie thru Rent Anime, these guys have more anime selections than Netflix ever was. ;)
