Damn, I'm actually agreeing with Mr. Butterknife again.

So, anyways, I've just finished Death Note. I would give it a 9.5/10 if half-scores were possible. Excluding Initial D, this is the longest anime that I've watched. The characters were truly great. Even Misa, who is a great source of fanservice, is a good character. The OP songs really matched the show well. I was a little taken aback by "What's Up People" by Maximum The Hormone (seriously? ) but it also matched the downward spiral of the final half of the show. I won't get over watching Ryuk dancing with an apple above his head as if he were Vettel on the top step of the podium. Now, imagine the possibilities if it crossed over with other anime...
