I am now all the more eager to see this 👍 That's all the review I needed!

If you want to see it immediately, it's on Zomganime.

Who knows, I think that Asuka has finally put a voice in his head. They changed Asuka's last name also to Shikinami
Halo:Legends was alright though I don't know when it is going to come on DVD.Did anyone know that they made a OVA for Lucky Star?

1: Yep, I think the names were changed to WWII battleships, if I am not mistaken.

2: Watched the first episode of Halo:Legends, didn't follow it though.

3: Yep, weirdest and least useful to my understanding part in a series of anything until I saw the last episode of Kampfer.

Are the added parts of the TTGL movies worth it? I just watched the series not all that long ago and have other stuff to watch, but if there's a notable difference I suppose I could take the time to watch the movies. I enjoyed it and it's a definite re-watch for me at some point.

Anyone here heard of Interstella 5555? It's basically an anime movie with music by Daft Punk. Here's a playlist of the movie (skip to about 1:00 in the first video for the beginning):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?playnext=1&playnext_from=TL&videos=JsRN9CBI8Ec&v=i9fJQIrlAm8

My favorite songs are part 2, 3, and 13.

Worth watching in my opinion, even though there's technically no dialogue in the whole thing, and depending on your tastes the music might drive you mad.
I've embedded the first part below, but I don't necessarily think it represents the whole movie:

Any body here a fan of vocaloid, i have to say im starting to like Teto kasane more then hatsune miku.. even though mikus 16 and tetos 15 in human years...but her cammera age is 31.. confusing but oh well.
^ I'm not pretty hardcore on the Vocaloid series but I'm beginning to grow on Hatsune Miku; thanks to AnimeNfo radio. :boggled:

-> So far I've been watching to the off-topic Kamen Rider series. I love Kanna Mori (from Decade) and Aya Kamiki (singer of W).

-> But I've been regaining my Bleach episode catch up. And most of the animes I'm currently watching are serious types. My mangas readings are pretty much covered most of the genre. Can you guys recommend me some funny series that I can watch online? Sure, I have School Rumble, Cosplay Complex, & Lucky Star on my DVD collection. But most of the series I currently watch are mostly drama towards action (Gundam 00, Blood+, Bleach, Negima! OVA, Wangan Midnight & Haruhi 2). Plus I got lost on Galaxy Angel series. I needed something real world-like and not too wacky, somthing like Lucky Star or AzuDaioh.

I love Daft Punk, and I own this, but I have yet to watch it... (just like almost everything else on my shelf!) Basically, Daft Punk's album 'Discovery' is the soundtrack to this movie. My favourites are 'Aerodynamic' (2nd song), 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' (4th song), 'Crescendolls' (5th song), 'Something About Us' (9th song), and 'Face To Face' (13th song). Good stuff 👍

The Vanishing Boy

Depending on what you like, you could go for Miname-ke, or Moyashimon. They're pretty light-hearted as far as I can recall :)

I agree, Interstella 5555 is fantastic. The great thing about it is that it gives the viewer an entirely different perspective on the album itself.

^ By far, I-5555 is one of the best Music Movie (music video would be too short, while musicals are too long and blabby) by far. Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto did an excellent job of delivering an anime movie that was never before. Plus a unity between two artists from France and Japan. 👍

-> I mean just look at their movie poster:

^ I'm watching both series as I post. I like both series so far; but Miname-ke was hilarious (loving it!) while Moyashimon was more educational ("study, stuDY, STUDY!!!!"). :)

-> Any more recomendations? :dunce:

Miname-ke is just freaking hilarious... Alone the seiyus with the sisters (for those who don't know).... Oldest Sister: Rina Satou, Middle Sister: Marina Inoue, and Baby Sister: Minori Chirarra (btw purely-droolable as Yuki Nagato:drool:). I can't remember the names of the sisters to save my life... LOL  Randy

Hey guys. I'm looking for some good Samuraj/Ninja style anime. Like Ninja Scroll, with lot of slashing and blood :) Can you give me some of your favorites?

Samurai Champloo
Samurai X
Tenjho Tenge
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Samurai 7
Berserk ( Middle ages but bloody)
Ikkitousen ( Three Kingdoms story but bloody 18+)
The Lone Wolf and cub

^ No worries, I'm not much of a fan of the Hentai fanbase. I'm more of an Ecchi freak.

Anyone know of Nujabes?

Yeah, i know. So sad.

For everyone else, if you saw Samurai Champloo you listened to some Nujabes tunes. He passed away recently. He was a very good hip hop/trip hop producer and arranger.

On another note, I'm watching Michiko e Hatchin, which was recommended by my brother because it has a certain Cowboy Bebop flavor. And while it certainly has the influence (I know that like half the team who made Bebop worked on Hatchin) it's just halfway there. So I'm still waiting for my next Bebop. I'll better get a chair.

It's music is so cool. Nowhere near Bebop cool, but freaking cool nonetheless.

I heard of Nujabes' passing, but have yet to hear his work. Though I'm looking forward to it.

Michiko to Hatchin has some pretty awesome music, and I liked most of the series. Driving around with some of the soundtrack in my car is pretty cool
And yeah, you're gonna need a chair. A comfortable one at that

As for me, I was able to recently finish off the Mobile Suit Gundam series via watching it on the ANN website in their Videos section. Currently, I'm at ep. 30 of Zeta Gundam and I hope I can squeeze in the last 2/5ths of that title before it gets removed from there on the 22nd. if not, there's always Netflix. ;)

-> I'm currently reading The world only God knows and watching Minami-ke. And I do apologize I'm pretty unfamiliar with behind the scenes news (well, except for Aya Hirano-chan). :sly:

Epic awesome series.

Any way, I usually peruse anime forums for my news, I get a rather lot like that.

So what have I been watching lately? Lately its been Angel Beats! (kinda like Haruhi but by Key and Michael Rivas is making himself a star overthere, so take notice of him Funimation! He works for y'all! ;)), B Gata H Kei (freaking hilarious), Heroman (this WILL be dubbed, trust me, too Americanized but very good), Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, (Usui is too cool of a dude), of course Katanagatari and Durrarra!! which are just two of the best this year. (They both remind me how Eden of the East was one of the best and biggest surprises of last year). Also, I will admit I'm a fan of K-On... especially the music. Oh I do have a guilty pleasure KissxSis. --- Randy

Let's see, I'm watching Angel Beats, interesting story thus far, pretty funny, and some awesome action scenes.

B Gata H Kei, umm, don't really care for it much, I keep thinking the girl is just a tremendous slut.

Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao. Tied with Angel Beats for my favorite of the season. Unleashes awesome, funny, and sexy constantly.

Heroman. HEROMAN HE IS AMERICA. WE SPEAK JAPANESE. IN AMERICA.

That's all I've got my sights on. I sometimes watch the others when I'm bored.

Add two more one just came out and the other has been out. Giant Killing is a soccer/sports anime and manga. It is a brilliant show and I'm digging it so far. The other has been out since last year and be hearing about it for while, Bakemonogatari. This show is crazy. However, its crazy awesome.
