Haha, that's just my opinion. You can watch it until your eyes burn, and it wouldn't affect me at all.

It's good to know that people at my high school think AoT is overrated. Lets me know that not everybody is a tumblrfag.
 
I think Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann are a touch overrated too. But that's not what people here would probably enjoy hearing.

That is all your opinion and you are entitled as a human to have one. I personally think they're amazing shows, even if Gurren Lagann's animation quality can be a bit questionable at times.
I can just imagine their excuse:

"We're Gainax. Bad animation consistency is what we do. Now become one with the rest of humanity like we told you to."

Wait a minute, that rhymes...

Eh, I enjoy them for the unbridled, over-the-top silliness. While they have moments of clever thought or poignant philosophy, I'm more in it for the absurd fight scenes and comedy.

I stopped watching Gargantia because I heard that it turns terrible after episode 8. Started watching the Comic Artist and his Assistants instead. Nice change of pace.
 
Sakurano Kirimu. Seitokai no Ichizon. Full-blown ecchi, otaku-based humour, generic art style.

Most of it was dumb, some of the humour was up my alley.

The craze is Gen Urobuchi. Any time he's involved in something now..."OMG the author of the Fate/Zero novels, and the screenwriter for Madoka Magica is involved! It'll be a perfect masterpiece for sure like those two series!"

It really is not worth buying into the hype on anything he is involved in these days.
 
The recent Urobuchi things weren't too spectacular. I don't get why people think Gargantia was amazing.

It looked great, but the plot wasn't smashing.

When it was barely coming to theaters, we were discussing how the producer helped influenced the film.
 
I am a huge fan of anime! Love it! My main is Slice of Live, Ecchi, Comedy and Action. :)

Something like Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High School Boys), Date A Live, Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (I can't believe that my little sister can be this cute), Binbougami ga!, or like Fairy Tail. xDD

Well damn my favorite anime series? That's a hard one haha I'll put on K-ON! So much moe and comedy!

Still haven't watched Disappearance. And I do none of those things.

I will never watch Disappearance simply because I've got too many other things to think about.

I'm going to wait for something Armored Core related. Or Touhou (that isn't made by a bunch of low-budget regular people. We need a high budget real production).

Fall 2014's line up

For me:

Terra Formars
Scientists send cockroaches and mold to terraform Mars.
First ship to lands on Mars, every cockroach is now massive and destroy the fleet.
Elite soldiers go to Mars to kill them.

And here I am thinking: Just don't go to Mars from now on!
If nothing else, I'll give it a whirl. Monster roaches. Sure! :lol:



Monster Attack B-film anyone?



Ronia The Robber's Daughter
Daughter of the chief of a tribe of bandits. It actually has that many ofs in the same sentence!
Story follows Ronja encountering mystical creatures, makes a friend and experiences life in a forest.
Oh. Done by Ghibli-Polygon, so I'm highly interested for the adventure.



Might be too childish for me to enjoy.. but I'll explore.



Parasyte
Parasite aliens come to earth and take over human bodies. This is potentially cool.

One parasite, that happens to have a name, attached itself to the main character, but is unable to control his body entirely. They become team members and fight the other parasites. This sounds lame. Will try though.

Psycho Pass Season 2
Sequel to the first. A must, no questions asked.


World Trigger
Giant invincible creatures emerge from another dimension. Some individuals teamed up to take down these guys. Action is cool, but the plot seems bland. Not fully interested, may try if other get boring.


Shirobako
Slice of Life about 5 girls who chase their dreams in the anime industry. The show will focus on the hardships of said industry. Maybe. Haven't seen an SOL in a while, but recent ones weren't too entertaining.



Can't say I'll enjoy the plot, but I am into art studios so I might find some fascination in it. May not enjoy it overall though.

@AOS- Have you ever heard of Parasyte before? I'm surprised they didn't make an anime of it before.

Also, I don't like Psycho Pass. In fact, I don't like anything from Urobuchi excluding Madoka Magica and Fate.

The upcoming Fate/ kaleid OVA will be about Chloe and Ilya's first bras >.>
