^ Thats Ryoko and her AW11 MR2. ;)

I wanted to read the Over-Rev manga but I wish it was in America.. I searched for it long time ago while it was being translated but meh..

^ Have you tried Mangafox?

:)

BT -> Just finished Witchblade anime in two days! I wish it could've been longer, or even Masane's daughter (Ryoko) is the next wielder for another different series. Next will be either Basilisk or Iron Man anime. But I will consider your suggestion guys! :)

I would like physical copies..lol. Try Basilisk, because you will enjoy its live action movie. Iron Man was alright.

eX-Driver was awesome!

Also I hope to finish High School Of The Dead today. About to start episode 5. It's pretty good so far but episode 4 started with a recap! WTF is that all about?! I'm 4 episodes in I'm pretty sure I remember what happened...

Kent, didn't you posted that years ago?
AOS: I may have more..lol
VB, WHY!!!!!!

Yup, I actually just reposted my favs in honor of the fact someone would overlook this thread to create a clone for fav anime/manga. I mean, read the first post in this thread and go from there...

^ Wangan Midnight is far worse than the other two when it becomes long delays.

Why are people talking anime in a brand new thread? Kinda spammy if you ask me. That said I can merge later if another mod doesnt get it first.

I miss watching anime... :(
I need to get my PC fixed and start watching again! almost all my animes are in my PC, and I have a horrible internet connection here to stream online plus the fact that most of the time I barely have enough time to watch any anime whatsoever! 👎
Of course, reading Sankaku Complex keeps me up to date with these new animes. :p

and why does this get its own thread and isn't being discussed in the general anime thread? that place is laid back enough that we can talk about manga as well.

and someone talked back and argued otherwise because of this post........:grumpy:

Well, the other thread is over a specific topic. I personally don't see why everything anime has to be crammed into a single thread. I don't think non-anime viewers are gonna be upset if there's a few anime-related threads vs the hundreds of threads on live-action TV and movies.

I mean, you can enter this thread and post whatever is on your mind pertaining to anime. But you can't really waltz into this thread and start up a focused discussion on something specific... Either your attempt to discuss it will be ignored, or the resulting discussion will be short-lived and quickly buried.

I don't see how it's difficult to cram... I do it all the time in another forum and it's a discuss anything thread....

Post edited to elaborate on my issue with stuffing everything into one thread, but i'll give a hypothetical:

Suppose I were to create a "Guess that Anime!" thread similar to the movie guessing thread. Would that be "spammy" even though it would be ridiculous to try and play that game in this thread while there are also people posting things totally unrelated to the game?

Not to really gang up against that issue but, you have a point that it will be like what did you recent watch vs guess that movie vs GTP's 10 worst movie. Its all general movie stuff and this is a Movie's and TV thread. We don't try to ignore anyone...I have seen other anime threads and there is hardly any new members. Reading the first post is :

I wanted to bring up this subject, then I noticed a Macross theard... so once I knew there were anime fans here, it was on.

So I ask you,

Who watches anime?

What animes do you like?

Are you into anything else directly related to anime?

What is your fav. anime series?

What is your fav. anime movie?

hope to hear from you guys...
Yes, I have probably warned some of these members about posting in txt language. I have seen AMG and other mods edit user posts about i and ur's.

You see, a Forum Game is different from an Opinion Thread... In opinion threads like "post your favourites", all you do say whatever it is you like and that's the end of that. In a game, you're playing the game...... two different activities that take place in the same setting.

The example you just given can be put in physical form.
Imagine there are parents talking in the living room. They are talking about "Anime in General", the topic can easily be switched to "What your favourite anime is" and continue a discussion further about a specific anime or whatever floats their boat. Now there are kids playing in the living room, they are shouting form excitement because they are playing a fun game. The Parents tell them to go play in another room, because they can't hear over themselves and their favourite anime chit-chat. The kids go to another room and resume their game. What game are they playing? "Guess that Anime!"

I respectfully disagree with the notion that the case is "closed". The point of having threads is to have a specific topic that is set in stone. While I'm not against having a "general" anime thread, somebody should be able to create a thread on people's favorite anime so that the topic of discussion doesn't get changed around on them.

I'm gonna go ahead and stop arguing my opinion here though, no point in me derailing the thread any further. There's no persuading some people, and it seems I'm one of 'em.

there will be if you says "it's a good anime" that you "recommend watching" :sly:

It's very good, I've just finished the first season and will start on the second one(which it currently airing) after work tomorrow.

Excellent, consider me a Majutsu no Index fan next week. haha 👍 right now.

Yeah, it's next on my list now, too. The second season is still running through March, and there was a spinoff, Railgun, to check out, too.

Just finishing a rewatch of Cowboy Bebop. Did a little research on it, and found some interesting things. Director same as Samurai Champloo. Writer and music the same as Wolf's Rain. Yoko Kanno also did music for Escaflowne, it's been over a decade though it seems so I'll have to check it out again one of these days.
