^ I've heard of Nanoha, I heard its quite big in JDM-land. Given to these Itasha cars:

Ugh... all that hard work put into decorating a car body surface. Making your car look prettier just means your feelings will be even more deeply hurt when you get into a collision

Finished Highschool of the Dead. Now watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai.

Started off with a bang but I felt it started to go downhill just after the halfway point. Too much focus on tits and ass and not enough on killing zombies. Not a bad show though. I really dug the style of it.

I agree what you said about High School of the Dead. It is a good show, but like you said the focus on the tits and asses takes away from the zombie killing. Beautiful gals though. :D Now, I just noticed that you are watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Don't let the title mislead you. :sly::dopey: Randy

Yeah I started watching it based on all the people I follow on Tumblr. Everyone posts pictures of Kyubey and talk about it a lot. Take note that I don't have a tendency to watch magical girl shows lol but this one is supposed to be more on the dark side. I've watched the first 5 episodes so far and it's actually not too bad. I love the way they make the inside of the witch's worlds look. Very trippy. And I've heard Kyubey is actually kind of creepy? I don't know if that's right but hopefully this show picks up. It's not bad so far but I think it's going in a good direction. I've only been able to find the first 8 episodes. The show started in January right? Also I love the ending theme song.

Yes, it started in January, sw_sephiroth. It is very trippy especially the witch's worlds look. What is more interesting is that Shaft is the ones doing this and that makes it more awesome to me. Kyubey is very creepy to me. No facial expressions and pushing both the girls to make a decision on becoming a magical girl which looks very risky to me. ---- Randy

Majutsu no Index is fun to watch...

CANAAN is getting better and better nearing the final few episodes.

Got a few episodes left of D Gray-man Season 1. (can't watch Season 2 at the moment as Netflix doesn't have it available for streaming.) After that, it's Clannad After Story. And then who knows from there.
 
stopped watching D.Gray-man half way through, just lost interest, got bored with the silly demons

about done with Toaru majutsu no index, meh, it's alright, but a little scattered, and sometimes seriously offensive to my inner science editor with long explanations that make no sense, and a little too fanservice-y

I've been told D.Gray-man is really poor for the first 50 episodes, then eventually picks up. I wouldnt sit through 15 hours of boredom for a just above average final 50 eps, apparently the ending is below par too.

The worst ending to a series so far has been Inuyasha. But at least they went back and made and ACTUAL ending to it....unlike the original FMA which left on a cliff hanger, then with the movie, they solved that cliff hanger...and put the brothers back to square one. So... it was a little silly.

D Gray-man is a little dull. Not as bad as Ballisik though. An Anime-soup-opera just doesn't work for me.
 
Don't worry SuperShouden, AOS- probably means me since I just said Taoru Majutsu no Index is only so-so right after AOS- recommended it to you... just guessing here. Maybe we do need an anime subforum so we can separate out conversations between seinen/shonen/moe types of fans.
 
Popping in to say hi. All caught up on Puella Magi Madoka Magica. That last episode was pretty crazy. Still about half way through Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. And because I wanted it off my hard drive I decided to watch Lucky Star. I watched the first episode, almost blew my brains out, and am in no hurry to watch any more of it.
