Shuffle! was mehhhh...

Rin is a foolish boy. There weren't a lot of echhi moments, only 1 episode had ecchi moments when...
Sia's twin sister decided to be all kinky-aggressive with Rin to ensnare him with lust and have him all to herself

Other than that, it's all
Save this girl, save this girl, save this girl....sorta like Yuuichi in Kanon, but at least Yuuichi didn't let people step over him

Also, Primula > Nerine :p wanna fight about it?

Loli fighters FTW! There was the SHuffle!:memories when
Nerine was attacked by gods eels lol

I thought Shuffle: Memories was just a recap of the series so I never watched it.

What's this Loli Fighters? I nominate the Water Deity Shizuku.

Memories, probably had like 1 or 2 new episodes. Loli Fighters would be like Melty Blood, Arcana Hearts type games.

Saw Tales from Earthsea which is written by Goro Miyazaki whom is the son of Hiayo Miyazaki. It was pretty good. Not as good as some of the things his father's done, but it was still pretty good.

-> Hmm, despite for all the trauma tha is happening in JDM-land. Will someone able to create a Grave of the Fireflies-type movie/anime series relating to this quattro-whammy disaster? It can be made by Japans best animators (Studio Ghilbi, GAINAX, Shaft, Gonzo, Sunrise, etc.) in Japan, then funded by major Hollywood powerhouses in the US, and directed by the best European indie directors. Just a thought...

Movie 1: Sendai: Quake
Movie 2: Sendai: Tsunami
Movie 3: Sendai: Reactor
Movie 4: Sendai: Hope
^ Sure, I made the title up.

^ Of course, once JDM-land recovers of course. Maybe not in the near future. :)

Yo Index watchers, Is it just me or do the episodes feel super short compared to other shows you've watched?

That intermission screen that appears 10 minutes into the show... every time I see it, I'm thinking "What? It's already been 10 minutes?" same goes for the end of the episode...."ED? Already?!??"

Now I don't know if this is just a result of submersing deep into th story I lose all sense of time, or if so little happens each episode that I'm alomnost expecting more content before each break. what about you guys?

Same kinda happens to me while watching it, but I think its just because it's such a 'fun' show, lets be honest there isnt really much plot to the anime, the arcs are all like 4 episodes long, but they're all extremely entertaining. This also happened to me whilst I was busy with K-ON and Angel Beats, episodes just flew by.

Arc???? what Arc? I didn't notice anything like an arc...and I'm nearing Episode 12 too!

Actually now that you mention it, the last episode I watched where that MISAKA bot is introduced, and how Touma's never seem to have met to Misaka before hereas they had they're encounter in the first episode...

There are easily I'd say at least 4 arcs in the first season;

Ezzard arc
Accelerator arc
Hyouka arc

Im sure they're are more...:sly:

Ezzard? Who's that?
Accelerator??? Are you talking about Freezing?
Who's Hyouka?!?!?

Hatcha I'm totally lost.

All I got from the current episodes I've watched were:
Index is getting pursued by Stiyl & Kanzaki, she gets her memory erased, Stiyl was her past saviour, Touma is the current, Izzard who stabs himself with needles to doing some supernatural stuff who was the preceding saviour, Touma wakes up in a hospital after Izzard tore his arm off. Index and Himegami visit him, the cat she snuck in runs amoks and both Touma and Index act childish drawing a smile on Himegami's face.

Next episode, Touma narrates about how he forgot his memory at one point (this is where I got the idea that it's just a continuing part of last episode), hits up a vendor with a 2000 yen bill, loses his money, and then Misaka, whom he has supposedly never met before talks to him (where it got a bit confusing), and meets her sister and the misaka clone...that's as far as I got...

Ezzard is who you're calling Izzard.

I dont understand what part you're confused with becasue;

Touma lost his memories so there is no way he could remember Misaka, unless you're talking about the other Misaka, the one who talks like, 'Misaka is wondering what you're thinking say Misaka'. that one? I also want to say more but im not too sure if you're already up to where I want to ask you about :P

As for the other 2 people I mentioined, you'll find out soon/ish

Only made it through the introduction and half the opening theme of Strike Witches before I realized that it was a lolicon series, which I hate, so, now, I'm watching Orphan.

Actually, Netflix just tossed up a bunch of new anime including:

Trigun (FINALLY!!! And it's the re-released, remastered, awesome quality version)
Corpse Princess (good action, stupid ending and message)
Sekirei - alright story, good action and boobs
D-Gray Man Season 2
Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Part 1 & 2
Full Metal Panic!
Spice and Wolf Season 1

And those are just one ones listed on the site. Lots of good anime to watch, now. :P

EDIT: Went through the new releases and they also added:

Shuffle!
X (not seen it, but I've heard of it)
Birdie the Mighty: Decode
School Rumble
Nabari no Ou Season 1
Tokyo Majin Season 1
Casshern Sins
Kenichi Season 1
Black Butler Season 1

and a few more. YAY! I've got stuffs to watch whilst I write.

Do you guys know exactly how many other animes/shows/video games/etc were referenced in Lucky Star?

I only know of Kanon, Initial D, Full Metal Alchemist, Clannad, Street Fighter and Death Note.
