Started To-LOVE-Ru. I might not watch the next seasons as I hear that character development just about evaporates from the end of the first. Oh well...

EDIT: I hear that there's no character development at all in S1 and that it does a bad job of following the manga, so when does it start ramping up and actually start making sense?

I thought people watch those shows for the oniichans, imoutos and what not.

Neither. I was just being short-sighted; of course, it'd be nice if everyone kept their shoes off seats.

My little sister is particularly guilty of that, though, so I instantly associate that sort of behaviour with her type. ;P
 
Also, a lot of people are calling this the end of UBW's first season; I thought it was just two cours?
 
It's split cours. It resumes in April.

SERIOUSLY? None of this happened in the VN. Handgun? Grenade? Self destruct? No! Faked a death? No! Long-term family problem arisen and solved in 24 minutes.

Then again, they have to rewrite it so it doesn't meet an ending. But still, this ain't the least bit convincing.
 
Talking of watching in spite (though I personally think Monogatari is absolutely brilliant), the Kantai Collection anime is starting on the 8th.
Just to drive the point home, Yuka Iguchi, who has voiced seemingly every character I hate, is voicing one of the mains.
They're giving it a real go, aren't they? I mean, how much can just one episode of it make me hate? I do wonder.

You'd have to do a lot more than spend a year's salary on H-games for you to go full-Kirino.


Finally got through half of Akame ga Kill! in one sitting. The most disconcerting thing so far being the unexpectedly high gag count.
 
Watching Garden of Sinners since I'm craving more of ufotable since UBW's 1st cour ended. Absolutely gorgeous, as expected. Barring the ultra-violent stuff, you could take any scene and frame it on a wall. Paradox Spiral ep was pretty wacky though.

I'm not a fan of scenarios like the anime for Amnesia if you ever saw that garbage. I do not like seeing women treated that way. I can like/tolerate the extent of like what is seen in Maid-sama! with the male MC doing things to tease the female MC, but when you get to like Amnesia (Where they literally cage her "to protect her"), it's disgusting and offends me. I can only begin to imagine what Wolf Girl and Black Prince is doing, aside from probably the predictable they start to fall in love scenario.

On laptop: Hulu, Crunchyroll, FUNimation, sometimes AnimeSols and Daisuki (Though I have no reason to use that site anymore now that their only exclusive Aikatsu! is gone). Also YouTube for Gundam Build Fighters via the official Gundam YouTube channel, GundamInfo.

Then I've got loads of DVD's/BD's that I can watch on my HDTV via my PS3 and surround sound system. Also Toonami on Saturday nights even though I've seen nearly everything on there.

EDIT: Finished S1 of Date A Live. By definition it wasn't a "good" anime by merit of animation quality or character depth, but I greatly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it looks like they cut down on the budget for S2's animation (so far).

Usually, it's Crunchyroll on the PC or PS3. I recently got a new smartphone and I plan on getting CR for it as well because the older model wasn't quite up to snuff on performance.
