Though the audience is shrouded in mysterious bout his past but its showing more as the show progresses.

Kajitsu is served as an intro to the heroines (I really don't know why they're called heroines and not damsels). Meikyuu, tells the events that follow Kajitsu, and finally Rakuen goes into Yuuji's past. I think Meikyuu will go a bit into his past because of the antagonist they'll be facing. Based on all the CGs I've seen that weren't in Kajitsu, Meikyuu's going to be very action packed.

I recommend not searching these images because it contains spoilers. I spoiled a few endings just now from a search. :grumpy:

What actually pissed me off the most was the fact it failed to do anything surprising. And the irony is, that in itself isn't surprising; it's an official anime, so the heroes are expected to kill the enemies to death for the entire thing.
???

I'm afraid I can't give a fair evaluation of Kongou (or anyone sharing her uniform), since I spent my time shouting "**** OFF!" at her when she came onto the screen. I hate, hate, hate Kongou. It's not hard to guess why.
What is the meaning of this?!!

Come on now, were you really expecting something out of this? From the time I saw the preview, with them hilariously skating over water, no wait, from the time I heard there was gonna be an anime, I knew it was just a cash grab.

When your favourite work of fiction has two shrine maidens in it, one of whom is the main character and the other is your favourite, you're not going to take the equivalent from its effective rival lying down, are you?

I was expecting the anime to be at least alright. The characters were what I thought would offend me. But it was the other way round. There just seems to be no flair to it whatsoever. It's a Toyota Corolla among anime. Whereas since I didn't know the mains that well, their personalities were extremely obnoxious but not offensive as such. The only one that I really took offence to was Kongou, for reasons set well outside the anime. Shimakaze would have followed suit if she had really featured.

Also, they are 'ships'. How else do they get over water? Who are you, Team Magma? IGN?! (7.8/10 - too much water?)

And yes, of course. They've gone down the money approach and like most anime coming from a franchise such as this you're not supposed to expect miracles. But you never know. It could have been a total deconstruction of the genre and been revered as one of the great anime of today. Stranger things have happened. If it went like that, I might have even liked it. Well, if the deconstruction in question involved the total suffering of all the characters involved, at any rate. But honestly. Just drop one of those Abyssals right onto the high school girls, force their lives into immediate jeopardy and you've got yourself something interesting, rather than just an anime. Please note I do not wish to condone this fate upon all characters in fiction; you know the score with me and this lot though

Can't tell if it does for sure, but I'm probably going to say no, it does not float my boat.

As someone has said somewhere else on the interwebz, it's the MLP of anime.

In regards to Aldnoah 2
I'm not surprised neither of the two were dead. People on another forum speculated for days figuring the indirect view of them being shot was a give away.

Also, I find Inaho being so OP rather lame. He can figure out his opponents way too easily.

I remember seeing a key visual a month after the first cour finished that I think had Asseylum sitting in a wheelchair beside Slaine. That instantly made me think that both Inaho and Asseylum survived. Even prior to me seeing that visual I still had a hunch that they survived.

And on top of surviving a bullet to the brain, he can bring the Deucalion online. As if he wasn't already doing enough to keep the crew alive.

I wonder. Does Inaho's prosthetic eye augment his already ridiculously OP observation skills? I hope it's as reliable as a Hillman Imp if so. The guy could use some added handicaps to spice up his otherwise formulaic approach to combat.

Looks like his cyborg eye did when he fought against that Martian Kataphrakt.
I agree with AOS here that Inaho needs to either be given a huge challenge or be handicapped in a way that's not for the sake of it. OP characters from other shows were made less OP with either of those things happening. It'll get pretty boring if Inaho keeps winning without falter.

Enter new enemy mecha.

Shocking new power sweeps Terran fighters off their feet.

Enter Inaho. Tries a few things...processes it. Figures out a solution.

Executes solution through an unorthodox and high-risk procedure. Girlfriend screams his name in fear of failure.

Inaho does not fail to defeat his opponent. Everything was executed almost flawlessly. Every time. Except the end of each season, because forced tension in conflict, climax and resolution.

While I haven't watched it yet, I already knew it was going to be a bland show. Working through your bias I see I was probably right.

Need to ask someone I know (who's huge into KanColle, and got me into it) how he feels.

I don't think I'm gonna enjoy Cinderella Girls as much as I did the original IM@S. I like how they introduced all the characters in the main series way better. Also, I really don't like the new producer. There is no way he can match the level of OG Producer.

No, I was more curious as to why were you shouting at her to "**** OFF!"? (and who's my favorite?!!)

It looked stupid though, that's all that matters. KanColle is worth nothing more than pretty illustrations and expensive merchandises. And doujinshis.

I will probably search the cg.

That was my answer. I really don't like her so I let out my anger that way.

My favourite is Sanae. She's a shrine maiden, though that's not as important in the grand scheme of things as it should be. Sometimes.

I heard there are rumors of S1 digimon characters are coming back.

Posting that is like posting cancer. Cancer is a bad thing. You can die from cancer.....

I'll agree, but only because of the obsessive and ridiculous amount of merch in that picture. Owning several (5-7ish) figures of your favorite character is fine, but I think that guy/gal needs help.

It's been a few years since I last saw anime (Life and all) so I finally decided to watch something again. I finally watched Mirai Nikki and saw the ending today. The ending for Anime left me feeling sad and conflicted, then I saw the OVA which made me a bit happier.

Good watch I'd say.

Any recommendations for something similar? Maybe something a little lighter?
