That is an old looking Kiki.
I know it's been going on since 2004. One Piece has been going on since 1999. Doesn't mean I'd watch it or recommend it. I don't know what sets it apart from your cookie-cutter magical girl experience so feel free to inform me if it's something like Madoka Magica.Another cut-out mahou shoujo thing? Do you even Pretty Cure? Its been going on since 2004. Also one reason why The Rolling Girls has a fanbase is because...

All that animation that AOT never had.
Hey all,
I've been roaming around looking for some new anime to watch, when some lovely people directed me to this forum! It's nice to meet you all
I am mostly into Drama, Comedy, Love/Romance, Horror and Game, with my favourite anime including Code Geass, Hellsing, No Game No Life, Is This A Zombie and (Recently recommended) Highschool DxD.
Could any helpful people be so kind as to direct me to some anime along the lines/genre of those stated?
Thank you all in advance!![]()

I don't recommend Haganai or Sword Art Online (can't say anything about the last one).^ Haganai, Sword Art Online, Cat Planet Cuties.
The dubs of all three of those are fantastic too, if you're interested. ;D

Black Lagoon seems great but I haven't gotten around to it.Black Lagoon
Zankyou no Terror
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
Shinsekai Yori
Suisei no Gargantia
Action, Thriller, Suspense, half of them got good soundtracks. Variety in themes. How much SOL can you take? If you can withstand slow-paced shows, Aria the Animation (and its sequels) will be my top recommendation.
Sword Art Online
It succeeds because the fanservice actually plays a point in the narrative. It's a satirical look at fanservice and magical girls, wrapped around deeper themes of social conformity and freedom of expression, all sprinkled with enough stylistic chop-sockey action to make any classic Hong Kong Kung Fu Movie lover smile.
No. Absolutely not.
Yeah it was very predictable, very dull, all that. Funny thing about predictability. I watched the show with my sister and we made "bets" on what would happen later in the episode to a few episodes from where we were. Was never wrong in what I thought would happen. I don't like knowing that.
Deus Ex Machinas everywhere, plot holes everywhere, characters getting rewritten multiple, multiple times instead of actually developing, bad pacing, and I can keep going. S2 does a better job of things, but unfortunately has certain content I'd rather not mention (It absolutely disgusted me and offended me). S2's saving grace is Sinon, and Mother's Rosario (The only actually decent arc in SAO).Aye, what is actually wrong with SAO? I personally never understood it's huge appeal, I just always found it on the overrated side, but what is actually wrong with it?

Yep, and in fact it was hyped up well before it even started airing thanks to fans of the LN's. The LN was like #9 on MAL or something like that for manga/LN rankings. So in short: SAO isn't really something to watch but it's just been hyped up

Suisei no Gargantia turns into garbage at the end. sorry m8s

The idea where you have to escape the game world was cool. Spoiler alert, that ends about halfway into the show. I found the second half pretty lame.
I second this. All of it. KyoAni really made the characters cute with this one.Oh oh oh, if you want a romantic comedy, look no further than Chuunibyou demo Koi ga ****ai!. There's a reason one of the chicks in it features in my avatar.![]()
That normally doesn't bug me, but somehow, Kirito manages to bug me. I don't remember why.
