Cowboy Bebop is good enough to the point of blowing everything else out of the water-- unless you come into it with the mindset of "oh Is This A Zombie is amazing" (which it ISN'T IMO).

Yes, I did try watching it. Dropped it a few episodes in because everything they did was just incomprehensible.

Ehh I watched it just to enjoy the humor, and because I was at the point where I had nothing better to do, much like when I watched Lucky Star. 👍

I don't want to go to a "Fandom" mode and be like "Oh hey CB is the best you're right all these other anime suuck!!", mostly because I'm not the type of person to be like that. I watch anime, I don't rate and compare. You can convince me to like an anime, but I am not easily convinced to hate another. Say what you like about an anime, I might consider it, but doesn't mean I'll believe it. I liked 'Is This A Zombie?' It's all opinions and what you enjoy watching.

But we are all friends here so let's keep it clean :3

EDIT: Fixed a few things x3

It's not so much about telling others what suck and what's good; it's more about cultivating a stronger sense of what is good and what isn't as good. Everyone's bound to start developing this over time. I'm more than positive if you keep on watching a variety of anime, you probably won't agree with this statement anymore:

in my personal opinion they are all very good anime

A lot of of us have been down this road before. You'll see :)

I understand @AOS- , but I didn't quite detail what I directed that statement at...
I was more talking about the anime I have watched entire seasons of, which are all mostly good because my friends are hardcore anime fans like you's so they generally have good taste. But I agree that not ALL anime are good, there's some that make you go "SWEET" Then there's "What's this..? What just happened?" And last but not least there's the dark side of anime, where after watching an episode you are probably going to react like: "WHAT DID I JUST WATCH??" :banghead:

Yeah I have experienced all of those reactions, and thanks for your advice, I'll remember that for the future 👍

Those two Zelda figures tickle my fancy. We'll see whe n they're done.

EDIT: Ah, yeah. Week 6: Rally Vincent.

Black Rock Shooter seems rather bad to me. Especially considering that one of my friends recommended it to me in the past and she had no taste at all. Anyone mind telling me what it's actually like?

Black Rock Shooter is nothing but a character.

An artist came up with a character design and that was that. It's now kind of like a mascot for companies to slap on anything to sell to otakus... it's kind of like how Hatsune Miku or Mirai Suenaga are icons to hobby culture and Japan Culture (respectively).

To me, Black Rock Shooter getting an OVA and an anime is another case of milking. I wouldn't watch either unless you're ready to shut your brain off and watch colourful fights happen. The best they could make out of the characters were a case of emo drama.

Wow that Saber figure is beautiful.

I'm excited for this weeks episode of A/Z. Sounds like it will be quite the showdown, even if we all already know who will win.

Hmm I'll give that: 👎👎

Is Slaine the hero of the show now? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Let's face it man, Slaine is the only one who can challenge Inaho. If he can't do it then the war might as well be over. Unless Asseylum someone kicks Inaho's ass in some miraculous jack-of-all-trades move

Up to episode five of A Certain Magical Index II and either I was in a weird mood when I saw the first two episodes or the same situation that happened in the first season did indeed happen and the quality rectified itself as the anime went on - the latter I believe the most likely case.

Anyway, enough with that rambling. Finding it much more enjoyable now and am looking forward to watching more. :)

It's like zechs versus heero arc.

Long story short: Sucker Punch, the Anime.

The OVA was a fifty minute fight scene in search of a plot. The series was more of the same same same.

To be fair, it was pretty.

I'm noticing a bit of a trend in Index II... each new character gets bigger breasts and more scantily clad. It's quite humorous really as they've been shown in such a way where they stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not necessarily complaining as such but the constant references are getting a tad tiresome though.

Still thoroughly enjoying it though... certainly an interesting plot, and now that it's settled down a bit as I stated in my previous post it's as enjoyable as last season. Nothing tops the movie though, that was great.

Yep, that's anime for you.

What anime networks do you guys have on your sides of the world when it comes to Anime on TV?

Here in South Africa we had Animax at some point but it failed dismally. Mostly because they constantly repeated shows and never put up new ones to watch (Solty Rei played for 2 years straight along with Eureka 7, that kinda repeating) plus it never garnered interest due to that.

In terms of net streaming like Hulu I haven't tried yet but from past experiences some sites don't allow us to stream... Lame
