In terms of piecing together the clips and the voice acting (5/10), it was pretty good but come on. Initial D's '80s-shoujo-manga look doesn't really help either.

I'm not sure if I should tell you or not because the show is pretty overrated. I personally enjoy the manga a lot more, but seeing the characters animated is pretty nice too if you have a preference.

You have no idea. Some of the people around here have no idea what Gundam is.

I guess that's what happens when you live in a military city in Texas. San Diego isn't very far off from that description, but I think we just got lucky. And we're in California.


I don't talk to people in my life about anime because all the people I know around my area that actually watch or have watched anime are either completely socially defunct or just watched SAO and thought it was the best show on Earth. The only exception to this rule is my brother, who I'm pretty sure has watched more hentai than regular anime. But when I learned that he watched Madoka Magica, I decided to watch it for myself. So I think it's gucci.

I want to avoid those first two groups for the sake of my sanity.

I gave that show a 10/10 when I first watched it. Last time I reviewed it, I think a 5 or 6 is more appropriate.

It's pretty good. I watched it when I was a super weeaboo in the stereotypical sense though so my opinion might be skewered.

Because they'll even make one about mahong and one about volleyball, but they won't make one about GT racing. Initial D just doesn't satisfy that itch.
