Edit: I'm kind of regretting this post already, but...
Sex, violence, and profanity, while part of reality and not a big deal for most of us, are touchy subjects because many people (who vote) are holier-than-thou and fear for their children's innocence. And though like many of us I knew all the words by the age of 8 and was familiar with pornography soon after, many parents choose to live in denial about this and would therefore be upset to see such subjects liberally bandied about on a website their children frequent. So, we have legislation about obscenity. And, here at GTP, the policy is to be family friendly, since many members are well under the age of instant maturity (18 or 21 depending on the state you live in.)
To each their own, and certainly there are many sites out there with no boundaries, but that's not GTP. Honestly I'm a little surprised a mod hasn't dropped in to the anime thread to ask us to watch our subject matter discussion and photo posting, since of late we've been pretty close to crossing the line into obscenity (and I've been guilty of this myself, and it is a valid subject for an anime discussion, but....) So yeah, maybe we should tone it down a little. And especially given the last few pages, I can understand how Hatcha thought it was no big deal to through out a few borderline cuss words.
) I abide by the AUP here. I have never posted a picture or said anything I wouldn't want my own future children to see. That's how I follow the rules here. But that's where the grey area is. What I find ok others may not. It's always at the discretion of moderators/admins. I think we do a good job in this thread of policing ourselves. It's pretty easy because a) we all get along and b) there's not very many of us in here. I'm not jumping into the whole bia***es thing because that's silly IMO. You hear and see way worse than that on any major cable network and the radio (not see on the radio obviously 
). Anyways I'm going to stop here
