All I have to do is watch Evangelion? Seriously?

That's like...a cakewalk for me. I'm all about mecha anime. :p
 
Ok people, I am officially done with Clannad.

To my surprise, it was pretty solid. And it finished quite strongly. It's undeniably good, but it doesn't quite achieve greatness like some claim. People say that After Story is even better though, so I have that to look forward to. :) 👍

The show's biggest problem is Fuko Ibuki. Her backstory completely failed to connect emotionally, and ended up being pointless ultimately. She provided some decent comedic relief, but it certainly wasn't worth making the first 9 episodes subpar for.

Yes! I LOVE Fuko and wish they had done more with her (take my starfish!), but though solid Clannad is only an 8/10 for me, still very good mix of comedy and drama. Afterstory (yes!!) picked it up a notch to 9/10 (plus many man-tears) with greatly increased drama.

Edit: Patlabor: old school hell yeah like 15 years ago!

Speculation could say that the Vist Foundation had some sort of influence towards the zeon developer which in turn made the guy defect to the federation due to more resources or something

just speculation :p

You still talking about EXAM? Unlikely, Vist didn't have any direct or indirect relation with any MS production until the UC Project.
