Little help... I have a hard decide to choose which 2 or 3 anime I want to buying from Amazon.

Which 2 or 3 anime I want to buying?

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. End of Evangelion
3. Clannad
4. Clannad: After Story
5. Highschool of The Dead
6. Trigun: The Complete Series
7. Demon King Daimao

Trigun

Or instead of Trigun, you could get Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22. :p

SHEM!!!! Doraemon is huge in China so it's no surprise. I thought Doraemon was a chinese-based cartoon when I was little since I was introduced to it by my parents. Also, you're in China, anime is pretty hip there. Maybe not Mainland, but still...

Forget the 1/6 Shikinami Asuka...Forget Asuka altogether. Get different figures, hence go with Rei. Though I personally rather get one that doesn't include the entry plug. Because it's so big, are we supposed to be looking at a tiny Rei, or the humongous plug? That visual conflict kills the focal point for me.

Alternative suggestion: shove that money down my pocket for another drawing :p

I think the Rei on the entry plug seat looks very good.

Anyways anything else out there that looks nice but isn't crazy expensive? Still haven't decided if I'm going to get another figure or not so soon though.

Are there any Sci-fi Anime series? I'm a big Sci-fi nut so if there is any, they'd definitely be something I could get into. Ghost in a Shell really rocked it for me.

Cowboy Bebop is sci-fi western and is one of the best anime ever made. :)

I'll check that out. I can probably get it at a local DVD shop here in CQ. They have rack upon rack of Anime.

I'll give joining a team a miss and just remain neutral thanks, one never knows when a war could break out. :lol:
 
$107 isn't expensive for such a size... we're talking a standard ruler here- actually even bigger than that (33cm).. That's a lot of plastic! :lol:

But I personally rather you get something other than Asuka..otherwise you'll definitely make Kuroko stand out even more (in a bad way).

I agree. I think $107 is a very good price for that figure. And it is very large. I may go with that.

1/8 Satellizer el Bridget (Damage Version) by GSC <- the Torn Fabric is AMAZING.
1/8 Beatless Intro set by GSC - cool mecha contraption. Too bland to invest into. But if it happens to be a success like BRS, then get it now! :lol:
1/8 Caster (Fate/EXTRA) by GSC Why not? looks pretty neat.
Saber Lily herself.... because the dress is gorgeous.
BLACK BLADEEEEE BRS - beautiful pose (hard to assemble jacket to hand I heard).

Yeah I'm dead set on Black Blade as a recommendation. Forget Rei in an oversize entry plug.... For a fraction of the cost, you get badass DFC with wicked cool fragile hair who yieldsa sword stepping into battle with style while throwing aside her jacket... LIKE A BAUCE.

That, or Dead Master Original version. It makes a great model for photos. Though Black Blade does a better job at that too.

How can I convince you to get BB? How many different angles would you sit the entry plug at? Only one: the way you see it in the photo. Any other way and it's not interesting to look at...with BB you can go with 5 different angles....Costs less AND makes a great phone wallpaper.. ;)

What do you guys think? Which would you rather take?

You have a point as far as positioning them is concerned but to be honest when I put a figure out it never gets repositioned. Except my Revoltech Asuka and that's only because she is poseable. I would need to clear a lot of real estate for the Rei though... Phone wallpaper isn't being taken into consideration. I already have the best phone wallpaper. :p

I do like BB. I like it a lot. But I have also seen the Rei in person and it looks amazing. Downside for the BB one is it looks so loli...


Again I haven't decided if I am buying one so soon or not. I'll look at my finances after the 360 is acquired and then make a decision.
 
I must so absorbed in how cool her design is to remotely think she looks like a loli.... someone else pointed that out and that left me wondering...

Hiroshi Kamiya - Araragi, Otonashi. (Freaking rules dude. Him and Daisuke Ono, when together in a show, they just bounce off each other. It's awesome.)
Miyuki Sawashiro - Kanbaru, Iwasawa, Cordelia. (Ayane Yano, Celty, and Saeko Busujima don't get your heart racing because of her dark, deep, but beautiful voice, something is really wrong with you man.)

There's an anime for it? I know monogatari will have a movie out in 2012..
 
So, I got to watch the first 2 episodes of NGE (eventually) last night, and now I'm gonna give a dedicated review to the show.

There is nothing I can say about NGE that is a total, complete and utter understatement. It is that good.

If you think it's that good, just hold on. It gets way better and totally blows your mind. Just DO NOT WATCH EPISODE 25. Instead, watch End of Evangelion.

Then after that, watch the Rebuild movies, 1.11 and 2.22. It's a retelling of Evangelion in high definition glory. The story starts the same but by the second movie it takes a different direction. Last 2 movies aren't yet released.

Sephy already told me how I should watch it :p But I should go to EoE's Ep25, you say? I did read up on it and thought it was better than the original. Though that's probably cause I can't remember how the original episode goes :lol:

I agree with slybugga.

If you're gonna watch either of the endings, you might as well watch the good one (EoE). And if you're gonna watch both, it's still better to watch EoE first. It's the "true" ending, and it's better if the original 25th and 26th episodes are viewed afterwards only if you're curious to see the cheap version of the ending.

Sephy doesn't think so, but it's 2 against 1. :lol:

EoE ending it is then! Sorry Sephy, it's a majority vote.

And in case you want me to join Team Asuka, I haven't seen her in the anime yet, so I don't really know if I can join yet. If anything, I'm mostly Team Misato ATM :lol:
