While I'm here, before I'm really drunk, is it OK to post pics in here? Home drawn stuff? I'm pretty good at art and have been drawing my co-workers in Anime style for years.

Are you guys all 15 years old then? :odd:

Most of the chicks I draw are just for fun as my staff use them as avatars on our messenger system. I think it'd take more than one of my 10 minute sketches to impress you guys. Maybe I could lose some of the clothing from the pics. :lol:

And yes I have a wife. She also looks like a Manga girl (She's Thai, and a real looker :sly:).

Think I'm going to finish off Blood+ today.

It's a good show, but it drags on man. 46/50 episodes completed and... I'm just getting bored. I like the show, but it needs to pick up the pace a little bit. They've been talking about killing this one bitch for 30 episodes, just kill her already.
 
Nah, not really(but stockings are HNG). Think I might watch Toradora next, which won't make me fall asleep....

As for other sci-fi shows, Shem... Ghost in the Shell (movie and 2 seasons of TV show), Evangelion, Akira, Cowboy Bebop and Gundam are all pretty standard fare (Some might say 'required viewing' :p).
Shows with a space-type flavour would include Captain Harlock, Macross, Gunbuster & Diebuster.
Scifi in Japan often involves giant robots, so for that we have Gundam, Patlabor, Code Geass, Eureka Seven, New Getter Robo, Mazinger Z, and plenty more I can assure you :lol:
If you're in a more space-western kind of mood, there's Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and GunXSword.
And for sci-fi that delves into more of "what impact will technology have on society?" there are shows like Chobits, Serial Experiments Lain, Eve no Jikan, Toshokan Sensou, and also perhaps Eden of the East.

Try Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi Ryo Ohki, Tenchi Muyo! GXP on, you might like it. (then follow up with Tenchi in Tokyo) :lol:

If you don't mind me adding to it, although it's not really a Sci-fi kind-of show, those who love mechs should watch Star Driver. I really loved it :lol: If you want a Mind 🤬 anime with mechs, also try on RahXenphon.

Allow me to add Bokurano to the list. It's tied with Code Geass for my second favorite mecha series after Evangelion.

If definition of veteran is before 1992, which kind of is then don't count with me.

However I saw the Grave of the Fireflies and Lupin including a whole bunch that I cant remember now, so I don't know.

I recommended Puella Magi after that.

Also, Sephy-sama, you could be in luck with Asuka. I just found out today that the minimum age in Japan is 13.
