Also I managed to watch another two episodes, both of which gave me a bit of confusion.

First in Ep 14 I didn't really fully understand Rei's speech after the end of the clips...I think I understood the point of it a little when reading about the plot but I probably would understand more when I get to EoE.

And Ep 15's mind screw was...

Why would Asuka kiss Shinji if she disliked it afterwards - even through boredom?!

By the way, what type of the show are you watching? Subbed, dubbed or none?

I'm watching mine with subtitles. It's always best in the original form for me, as long as I can understand it.

Also I've discovered something kinda weird...

Death is just a re-cap of the series, and Rebirth is the first 30-35 mins of EoE IIRC. I don't think there's much point in watching it.
