That's Monstrous... I'm constantly trying to keep under 20 gb of media... my current folders have barely hit the 10gb mark... this is made possible by not having videos :p

500gb (460gb)... but unlike a PC, I don't know where all the hidden stuff is so I don't know where to look to clear up cookies and other unnecessary crap. I'm sure it's somewhere, but I haven't bothered googling it.

My laptop's anime-pic folder is 707mb... my desktop is like about the 0.9 to 1.2gb...

I pretty much came to that conclusion a whole 12 days ago. Something about a 14-year-old in a figure-hugging outfit has been a huge factor in that.

For some reason, my brain keeps trying to link stuff in NGE to my classes. Today in German we were doing a listening test, and one of the questions was "Give 3 phrases that show that the speaker has a high opinion of herself." Another asked for her name. I was so tempted to write "Asuka Langley Soryu" in there. :lol: Then there was Business Studies, and while flipping through the book trying to jog my memory, I came across Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Here's what I thought of the 5 tiers:
  1. Physiological: why the Fuyutsuki would you pilot an EVA if you wanted personal safety?
  2. Security: great pension plans?
    Toji would beg to differ.
  3. Acceptance: OK, this does apply to Shinji, since he does it for praise.
  4. Esteem:
    Try telling that to post-mind-rape Asuka...
  5. Self-actualisation: How the Fuyutsuki can an EVA Pilot get promoted?

Just ordered me some 8 GigaRAMz for my MacBook Pro. Should make managing my Plex library silky smooth again. :)
Something about Plex having the movie posters for 1000+ films all loaded up into memory at once just didn't work well with only 4...

Jeez I have almost 40 GB on just my laptop.

But in my defense it's only stuff that's airing in Japan or stuff that isn't licensed here yet/not released. For example Steins;Gate. I'm totally buying that **** when it's released.

And as far as anime goes Walmart's selection sucks. Sam Goody has an entire wall dedicated to anime.

I'd be dead because the seat I'm sitting on would have blown my butt off....that also would explain why its dead in here.

I was still at school, class ended at 8:19 and commuting home takes an hour. I took a gutsy move and watched shows on my laptop whileon the public train (not a safe move), but I watched Gunslinger girl 8, Ao No Exorcist 22, and Chobits 6 in one ride... I really wanna maximize my opportunties to watch shows while I still don't have too much homework to do.

Too bad FUNimation takes over a year to release. But IMO they do one of the best dubs out there (Evangelion, Fullmetal Alchemist).

I got a good list of DVDs to buy when they are released. So far theres
