not sure if it is really an 86 or not, it is a trueno, but different.

upon second review no, it is, for some reason i had it set in my mind that this one had a different body

Actually its an AE88, a coupe version of the AE86 here in the US. But they're mildly popular in Japan so we don't get to see those that much in Japan. :)

Hey all, back in for a quick check with my anime people. :D

Hope things are going well, here they are alright, but still no phone line for the net, so it is on my dad's computer that everything must be done. :(

Back soon though, and then maybe, just maybe I will get the chance to check out things again on my pc.

anyway... btw about anime.

Who else is loving the fact tha cn is showing (although I hate the schedule) new episodes of inuyasha and yu yu hakashu?

Damn, I love it. (or well, close to love, but when you only get one episode a week it really kills that love and makes it more of a "like you as friends" sort of thing. :lol: )

what im into that is related to anime? i cosplay at a anime conventions.....my frist con i went as a AE86..yep thats right i cosplay as a car, and it was made out cardboard box and it looks like the car and i was wearing it . the reason why, cause if i was to cosplay as one of the crew in Initial d...no one will notice me. My sec con i went as a DDR pad, do it next time you will score lots of hot anime girls to take pics with you.

anime that i really hate:

all the gunDAMN series (which makes no sense to me)
Inuyasha
Dragonball and Dragon ball Z(GT is better) not realy a big fan
pokemon(did like it at first till it got annoying)


im also a harcore gamer as well.....well not to hardcore its the video games that got me into anime.....but yea i know im kinda to late to post this up but yea.... as right now im playing FFXI and oh if you guys happend to play that too, im on the "fairy" server and my character's name is "Kamatsu" just stop and say hi.. ja ne

Nice list, but I wouldn't have inuyasha on my bad list. I really like that show, especially since it is semi-new and up to date. (I mean, the series hasn't ended yet in japan and wouln't until this september.)

But yeah, I like inuyasha... :D
The fun between characters is nice, and the story line is actually not bad (especially for an anime aired on cable in America).

Now, as for some of the other "bads" you mentioned... dbz, I liked, still do, but grew out of it as everyone else should and will, if they haven't already.
Pokemon, never, ever liked it (I was too old when it came to america). (Im 23)
Gundam? (some are good, some are bad, we have had the conversation in here before. :lol: )

Who here saw the Zone of the Enders Idolo anime movie and the Zone of the Enders Dolores,i episodes.
I though they were very good,funny too.The nice thing is that the Z.O.E games and the anime tie into eachother.After playing the first game on PS2 i decided to go watch the anime aswell and i am very happy that i did.Looking back on all the anime stuff i have seen,nothing beats the complete Z.O.E experience.

I too watched anime at a tender age, I've been watching those old Astro Boy and Robotech when I was 6 yrs. old, I hope I'm a hardcore anime guy but I'm really into it. Besides, I'm working on a Pinoy-style manga, its looks like its drawn like a 5-yr old but the story is appetizing. :)
 
You know fellas... if you are over the age of 15 right now, it is pretty hard not to have been into anime at a young age.

I mean, just like mentioned above, I was also playing with macross/ robotech stuff while watching what I could. That's not to mention voltron or anything like that either.

Heck, if I counted those days into my anime life, I will have been watching anime for about 16+ years now. :D
 
No, Takara Transformers, the one straight from Japan that was never-ever seen in the US. I've watched only one episode and it completely blew me away (I saw it when I was 17, now I'm 22 now).

And I'm not talking about the Armada or the one that showed up on Fox network.
 
voltron are like girls ....the more you stick in it gets better...i think thats how it goes... but anyways im been busy playing FFXI now does nayone play FFXI? iknow this is got nothign to do with anime...but its anime related
 
Back in the Philippines, Voltes V is the cult figure in anime. Then newer ones showed up like DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho (aka. Ghost Fighter in the Philippines) showed up and the Anime exploded into a new fanbase. :)
 
i'd like to play ffxi, cept i dont have the hd space, sys performance, or the $$$ to buy the game and pay for it each month :( (If i had the money I would go right back to RO, cheaper and more entertaining imo)
