Plenty of goodness with tons of laughs.

I think the comedy is what I love about inuyasha the most. :lol:

I'm with you Night Kid. It looks pretty good, very bright and sharp, but it is no where close to the classic Gundam's storyline.
 
from the first 5 eps of seed i saw i tought it had a kind of original gundam vibe goin' on. but then again i dont even rem the orig books to any detail anymore....
 
Man, the one liners are getting old (looking at you nk4e :irked: ). ( Not sorry, but I do hate that sort of post, almost regardless of what you say, it almost always comes across as SPAM.)

Don't know, but it does sound like something you guys could go on about for hours since I have heard so much about it.

Unfortunately, I don't really know anything about that game, so I'm gonna pull the classic...

I thought about coming in and mentioning last night's inuyasha episode. :lol:
Funny, funny, funny.

Did anyone else watch it?
Are you guys allowed to be up late enough for daily inuyasha? :lol:

Well, a sage had beaten down the human inuyasha at the end of the last episode.
Part two of that episdoe begins with inuyasha trapped by a demon tree. The tree was responsible for creating this fat ugly sage who had the power to create a mini village and capture people in it making the people miniatures as well.

Kagome, shippo and miroku were turned into miniatures while inuyasha was trapped by the sage and demon tree. Well the sage found out that kagome was in the mini-village and decided to get her. He found her, then moved her to a little bath house room. :naughty:

Well inuyasha gets a little help from the escaped & miniature miroku to collapse the roof of the room. This knocked the sage out and then inuyasha escaped down to the bath house room to save kagome...

When he showed up, she was in the nude, fully. 👍 :lol: Just kidding, but she was nude...

It was so funny cause iy gets down there, they lovingly call out each others names, she stands up and boom! the human iy gets a flush and turns away kinda shocked.

Well kagome got out anyway and ran over to him, he takes off his coat as he passes out and gives it to her, but as she sits down next to him, still nude, miroku and shippo pop out of inuyasha's hair. They saw everything and kagome's face shows it all. :brightred:

It was certainly funny. 👍

In the end of the episode, everything worked out, but there was a nasty scare that iy dies. However, as kagome, miroku, and shippo are grieving and cursing the name of that fool inuyasha, he sneaks up and suprises them all with a tough guy act.

It put a little emphasis on the love story, which sadly, I will admit I do love... But it also put a lot of emphasis on the humor of the show and that is what has always drawn me to most of the anime I watch.

Only a few of the animes I watch are not saturated with humor.

So, I did love last night's episode, but I just gotta stress.

I love funny anime. 👍

Anyway, I'm out of here for a little while, but I will be back to catch any of those one liners in a little while. :) ;) :lol:
 
if anyone elses connection to gtp is as lagged as mine short posts are the only thing you can do! for me to ewrite, say 5 lines, would take about 4 minutes to show up on my screen. GTP is the only site that does this and i have no idea why. A long post would prob crash my computer :P
 
LoneWolfe, GTP has been having some server problems as of late I'm pretty sure.

So I'm guessing by the way things have been sounding, it's as if I'm not really missing much by not watching Gundam SEED.

Now onto Inu-Yasha, I haven't been watching it. Nor do I really plan on watching a whole lot of it. I might catch an episode here and there, but not all that often. Like LoneWolfe said, it's not my cup of tea. I have not been able to convince myself that I actually need to watch Inu-Yasha like I have with other series; though as of late and in general, I haven't found much time to really watch any kind of anime.

YuYu is much like Inu-Yasha in that I have not been able to convince myself to actually watch it. Though eventually I may get around to watching both YuYu and Inu-Yasha.
 
it cant be of late that is causing the problem, this has been going on since about a month after i signed up. I cant see it being a problem on my side either because i've visted numerous other forums with the same setup an they're fine.
 
Alrighty, thread has been dead for awhile, i've been off i RO land and almost non-existant to people around me. I figured I would break death by doing a post:

1) what's the worst/funniest subtitling you've ever seen in anime?

Mine would be hxh, this group simple put it into a translate, the resul: "I will kill you without spilling a drop of flood!"

So now all my friends and i are like, "I'm flooding!" :P

2) I was gonna post this hilarious kof star wars spoof, but seems it is like 700kb, so thats out. If you really wanna see the funniest spoof ever give me sa shout on msn (between RO of course ;) )
 
Have you seen Jubei-Chan The Ninja Girl GoKents?.Lot's of action and very funny.I haven't seen Inuyasha yet,don't have Nootcar Tekworn :D

Oh man you guys I just watched Macross Zero - chapter 4... OH MAN IT WAS WORTH THE 5-6 Month wait! (maybe it ws longer?). All I know is i've been checking animesuki everyday for this release and now it is out ^_^. Well, what to say about it, well the story is winding up to a climax, and for anyone who still hasn't seen it go do so, macross zero ch 4 had by far the ebst animation i've ever seen, no wonder it took so long for it to come out. Go watch it if you haven't done so already! ^_^'

Well, expect to see me 10x more excited when the final chapter gets released (what's another 7 months?).
 
Well guess what guys?

It's saturday again and that means it's time for new episodes of yu yu and inuyasha. :D

I missed the first half of yu yu, and sadly, that was the fighting in the show. Following that was the story development where the older taguro brother told a twisted and false story of genkai and her death.
It pissed off kuabara, but right when things started up again it was time to end the show... soo... :indiff:
Kinda let down for that one.

Now about inuyasha...
Hasn't come on yet, but this looks like an episode for miroku and sango to get down and develop their relationship.
Should be funny with all the grab-ass miroku tries. ;)

Back later on once I've caught the show. :D

Just finished the show...

Looks like I was totally wrong.

It was a story about 2 ninja girls and sango.

At the end you got a little taste of miroku/sango action, but it was only a usual ass grap and face slap. :p

I love those two. :O
 
the face slaps (yuri kof 2001) are the best.

Macross zero isthat good? ive seen it for sale online but never made the venture into the newer macross series. Is the english versoin OK? or would the subtitled dvd be just as good?

x: things look a little different around here....... is this theee anime thread?
 
Umm, woah, weird design, didnt clear up the lag I have with GTP :/. oh well. Kirkis: Macross Zero is great, not sure about dubbed, subbed is great, dunno why you'd want otherwise :)
