Just saw Darker Than Black 1 and I have to say it's refreshing to see an anime with people old enough for their part. Very rare to see one which is not a Kid Parade.

Don't worry Dragonuv; by starting off with moe and moving to non-moe, every new show you watch will be better than the last.... "it's all in the timing" ;)

Stop with the 🤬 cliffhangers already! Bad enough it's only one episode per week, I don't need for you to tease nor pique my interest in the series anymore that what's already there. Now, while I hate the way Titus looks (AGE-1's evolutionary upgrade in comparison to Spallow (the second evolutionary upgrade) I have to admit it looks like it can kick serious, serious ass in CQ combat.

I love how old men are fighting for virtually no reason at all, other than being completely and utterly ignorant, yet they're also criticizing Flit for bringing his past into future events even though the UE are a threat far more than both of them combined could ever be. At the very least Flit it fighting a persisting war, whereas these Euba and Zalam jackasses are fighting just to fight.

In other news, I saw this fan comic on the web, on deviantart, DOUBLE K, which is TTGL in buddy cop show form. It is brilliant but sadly there has been a lot of schedule slip since it was implemented in 2008...there have been all of 92 pages from spring 08-today, but the author is updating it again. But anyway, let me describe it to you in the way the author, CaptainOsaka, would, in spoiler tags of course.

I've also started reading the manga High School AU, Gurren Gakuenhen. In the middle of Chapter 2 and OH MY GOD Nia is :lol: She's actually stuck to Simon here. :lol: Husband-Wife Gattai :lol:

If you aren't sure it's going to spoil or not, better to put it in spoilers anyway....or saran wrap. Depending what's being spoiled.... I hope I didn't spoil the fact you can prevent stuff from being spoiled by wrapping it in saran wrap :ohno:

There's a lot to reply to, blame all the traffic.:p

Also, at the first thing, it's because you guys in the UK unfortunately get screwed over. You don't get many things licensed really. I don't know if anyone in the UK has it, though Manga Entertainment UK might go after it, though they could end up pissing people off with dubtitling (Using the dub script for subs, so basically, inaccurate translations when watching the sub.). I've heard lots of UK anime fans complain about Manga Entertainment in the UK.

For non-legal streams yes, for legal streams no. The legal streams on YouTube are pretty good, though you can get better quality on Hulu, FUNimation's video with a subscription, The Anime Network with a subscription, or Crunchyroll with their subscription.

I do realize and I looovvveeee it. My brutal side just makes the cuddly bit that much more loveable. It's called contrast.

Kobato's certainly no angel.... she's a vampire, duuuhhh :p And 400x cuddlier than Asuka.

Question, should I give Monster a try? I've heard nothing but good things about it.

And I'm off. Going to see if MAL added wrong, Anime-Planet added wrong, or they both added wrong and are trolling me with their episode counts. After that, don't know what I'll do. Probably either watch YuYu Hakusho, or more Dragon Ball Z. I've been bored all day, and I'll still be bored.:grumpy:

Definitely check Monster out. It's got a slow, deliberate pace though. And it's got very sparse action, and absolutely no out-of-place humor or fanservice, so don't go in expecting anything other than a damn good serious story.
