Definitely check Monster out. It's got a slow, deliberate pace though. And it's got very sparse action, and absolutely no out-of-place humor or fanservice, so don't go in expecting anything other than a damn good serious story.

Good to hear. That show is relatively high on my list.

I'm off for the night.
*unlocks bedroom door*

*Waits until he knows you're asleep*

In other news I just joined the MLP Resistance Group. Come at me bronies!

And I'm off. Going to get to watching some Soul Eater, Steins;Gate, Rurouni Kenshin, and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital.

I decided to spend the past 2 hours adding start and end dates for shows on my MAL for some odd reason (Guess I want to remember the initial watching, or at least the years.). So far the oldest, One Piece, April 23, 2005 (When the 4Kids dub premiered on Toonami.). This is going to take some serious time, references, and remembering.

Because you don't go in the Infield.....

Tierylord, the gap in your heart can be stuffed with lolis..... sly guy, fix this boy.

No but I've seen it before.

I like the way you think. Actually, normally I don't, but I like this.

Done up to episode 9 of Madoka, stopped and screwed that show for homeworks. Will continue tomorrow.

You stopped right where you shouldn't have stopped. I haven't seen a better anime episode than Madoka's 10 in years.

-> Hello, long time no see! Just finished watching this:

...again after 8 years!!!

What a flashback. The "absolutely not for children" sign is SO right.

Alright, got regular internet back, farming is done for the year (aside from office-worky type stuff to prep for next year), and I think I can finally set aside the two hours a day it requires to keep up with this thread...

So, what have I missed in the past 6 months?

I finished MKR2, Zeta Gundam, rewatched Initial D for the third time, and have kept up with Gintama, Bleach, and Shippuuden.... so what should I be watching next?

I just looked and I have Kite and Kite Liberator. Is it any good?

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!! :D

Get started on Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki.

Wow, welcome freaking back, dude. Here's hoping you can return some coherence to this thread. It's been nothing but moe lately. Also, how was Rayearth? be kind.

I just looked and I have Kite and Kite Liberator. Is it any good?

Never saw Liberator but Kite is cool. Way brutal... at least that's what I remember. It's been almost ten years nao!

Rayearth was epic! Clamp is awesome! Not too complicated, solid characters and motivation, for the time great style of animation, great voice acting (I only watch subs)... although it's been a couple months now so my memory may be hazy. But isn't that a good thing about an anime? Whatever your gripes may be while watching it, down the road you have only fond memories?

Steins;Gate and Mirai Nikki.

Ah, that's right, did watch Steins;Gate, too, this summer. Great fun. Nice to see somebody understands the paradoxes of time travel, and that a story can just use time travel as a plot device rather than a central focus. This anime was mostly about characters and relationships, as all good stories are, and it did a great job, very much enjoyed it!

It's nice that you're back. You know.... telling me to watch Blood+ and then leaving.. :( My heart was broken(go get me another ice cream cake, Twelve-Tyrants)

Glad to hear you enjoyed Steins;Gate. As for what you should watch next besides it.... uhhh... Eureka Seven?

Seen Eureka Seven, it was very pretty to watch but the story was rather weak... got Sephy's recommendations in the queue. So, Blood+? Watch it? Enjoy it? Cry much? One of my first long-arc animes, very seinen. Animation of the Chiropterans was kind of lame, but that's my only sour memory about it.

ohhh yeah, I remember your distaste with the ending. Lots of 🤬 has happened during your absence... jerk.

Blood+ didn't make me cry. I worked through it at a pretty slow pace, couldn't stand how slow the show moved at some points. Overall it was a good watch though.

Watch Hanasaku Iroha and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai if you're okay with SOL.

Sounds good to me. I'll have to give it a shot sometime.

Look who's back, back again, jeff is back, tell a friend.

So, what have I missed in the past 6 months?

Table-flipping fun... lots of it too.... oh and avatar requests... we going 3.0 this december, you in?

btw, I found this in that book I bought recently :3

I joined, that's one thing. Loli and AOS- on another forum talking about this place got to me after a few months.

As for shows, check the stuff in here. A few big recommendations I'd give are One Piece (Seeing as you are watching the other two of the big 3, the length might not affect you much.), Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (Even if you don't intend to watch the TV series. It's way better than the TV series.), and Eden of the East.

So I can expect something similar to Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal which had probably the most serious story I've ever seen, great.👍

TC I have a question I've been meaning to ask you. Do you like Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal?

*Grin*

Knowing jeff, he might actually watch One Piece if he hasn't already....

TC to RKT&B as Tierylord to S;G

Hey everyone! You're not going to believe what I just heard from someone...:p

I actually saw that before the edit.

Anyways, what is this, middle school?

Like, no. Love, no. Absolutely love and adore, yes. It's my all-time favorite OVA. I was just stunned at how well down that 4 episode OVA was. I still badly want this. I so badly want to rewatch it. Now if only my parents could pay me for the yardwork I did over the past few months...

Middle School? This is Anime, Baby. It's High-school all day, any day.

Brando-K..... WELCOME, PONY! You must be in the wrong thread, but you're more than welcome to stop by!
