Looking at specs the way you just said above is not even close to important in this for one very important reason...

My newest gundam.
Similar to, but improved vastly over my previous model.

Can use instant transmission. (like gokou)
2000 teraton output.
Can stand up to 2000 gigatons of punishment.
It has 15 50mm machine guns stashed away in the armor of the arms, chest and back.
It has 4 tactical nuclear bombs stashed in the armore.
It has 2 beam sabres.
It has 2 missile pods with 1,000 missile in each one. (all still stashed in that armore)
It can fly at the 1,000,000 miles per second. (over 100 times the speed of light)

All of this, and it only stands 6 feet tall, so it is impossible to touch.

I just can't believe you would actually consider those stats you provided as legit comparison materials.

You just can't compare the different universes.

Still... you have repeatedly dodged my questions.

Who would win in a fight?
Vash or spike
homer or peter
superman or gokou

Does any of this hit home with you... can you still not see why comparing the mechs of one series to the mechs of another series is an invalid comparison.

I mean, look at what I did.

My mech looks like crap, but, it has 2000 teratons of output and 2000 gigatons of armore capacity, and it can instantly transport on a molecular level the way gokou does in dbz.

All of that makes my mech 100 times the mech any OF is, so do you respect my mech now, or are you starting to realize that comparing mechs from series to series is just a pointless exercise on how much of a fanboy you can really be?

You can not compare the objects, people, mechs, and heros of different series because each series is based on a different reality.

In some worlds, teratons are legitimate measurments of power, in other world, we still haven't even thought of the possibility of teratons of power output. (and of course, don't forget about the real world where not even 1 mega ton of power output is possible. as far as I know. ;) )

This all just means the creators wanted to up the anty and make up funny stats about how their mech was king. (was until my monster took the world title.)

Fact is, if you are literally going to respect the stats you listed for the evas and OFs, you have got to respect my gundams stats.

Flat out.

My gundam is the best gundam ever.
toughest, fastest, strongest, most deadly. (all that crap)

But then... put my animation out there and my gundam looks like crap, is drawn badly and has nothing to do, at any point, with any other mechs.

So even though my mech is faster and stronger than anything else, it is gonna look slower, look weaker and in the end...:indiff:

Just realize that you are trying to compare different universes and different realities of possibility.

When you cross from one series to another, you are making the standards and limits of one reality, apply to all realities. (and that does not work)

Let me ask.

Do you really think the eva makers would use a cheesey ass 40 gigaton unit when they could have a 200 teraton unit?
Hell no, but they can't have that any way since 200 teraton units aren't possible in that reality... none the less on a mech that is even smaller than an eva.

Flat out, this needs to stop, and I don't mind if you want to get in another shot at this, but flat out...
address these points.

Gundams run at the limits of human ability as well as the limits of the physical world, universe and reality that they are contained in. Same goes for evas, same goes for OFs... so how can you compare any other them?

And you better address this stuff, because otherwise you will still be dodging the cross series comparison issues.

Argh,i give up.You said that the makers of NGE would have made an EVA much more powerfull if the reallity where they are in would allow it(or something like that.)But that's just it,it doesn't.So what would happen if you would put an OF in those series,knowing that it's much much more advanced and much more powerfull?The OF would own the EVA.It's that simple.

Now onto your questions.I will answer the 3rd one since i don't know who those people are except Homer.

superman died and cannot be bring back to life while goku can and on ur robot question, we aren't that advanced to have OF's in this generation

Well, first off, the dilemma of cross series comparisons was pointed out in this post. (in directly)

You acknowledge that the eva universe has its limits, but then you ask what if you put an OF in there.

Well that's the thing... you can't put an OF in there because they are different series with different rules in each reality. (I can't believe I am actually talking about this. :rolleyes: :lol: )

It just doesn't work like that...
You can't change the bounds of reality with in a series just so you can fit an out-of-place object into place.

The OF has to fit into the bounds of EVAs reality if you want to compare them.

But, hell for the sake of just letting this go, if you want to put the eva into the reality of ZOE, then what the hell, the OF can be king.

So let's put it like this...

In the world of NGE, the eva is king.
In the world of ZOE, the orbital frame is king.

Now about that superman gokou thing...

(first off, for such a "geek" who would find and know stats about orbital frames, I find it hard to believe you don't know who vash the stampede, spike from cowboy bebop, and peter griffin from the family guy are.) (that fact alone kinda compramises your anime thread credibility to an extent... I mean, all of those are just adult swim cartoons, and you're sitting there talking about indepth stats for OFs from ZOE. :rolleyes: )

Back to superman vs gokou though...
Look at the reply right after yours... That says it all. Instantly, with in one replay to the thread, someone found a totally different way to think of the fight and a way for your outcome to be voided.

Also, you forgot the fact that superman is not immortal, and he is also subject to kryptonite.

But at the same time, superman doesn't lose his power like gokou does as he uses it.

Anyway, it just goes to show that superman vs gokou doesn't work, and the reason why... you can't compare characters from 2 different series... it just doesn't work in any world besides the world of the fanboy thinking it up.

And listen dude, if you ever become an anime producer or a comic book writer, then I will respect the product you create to show an EVA vs OF comparison.

However, I do not belive you are a comic book artist or an anime producer, so for the time being, you're just gonna have to accept my reasoning on this one.

Ok,let's just get a few things out of the way.
1.The only anime series i have seen is Zone of the Enders and partially NGE,that's it.The ZOE games captured my interest and i wanted to know the entire backstory so i went and watched the series.
Now,you keep talking about logic and what not but to hell with logic.You can just compare the two without have to bring in the universe of both series.It doesn't fit in the NGE reallity blah blah blah.Just by looking at both the series and seeing what both the EVA's and the OF are capable off and comparing both to one other,don't make such a big issue out of it.
Who cares about what universe they are from.I know i don't.

I am not going to talk about this anymore.
 
gundam specs eva specs=one being, in essence, whatever happens to the Eva is felt by the pilot and visa versa. Modified from EVA-00 under Project E, EVA-01 is the most powerful among all Evas. A great amount of resources were put into its improvement. The EVA had high Sync Rates with the pilot and this boosted its performance.
Physical Description: EVA-01 is a purple-based unit, with light green and orange armor in various body parts (shoulders, arms, knees, and feet.) As mentioned before, a place for the entry plug is located on the spinal area of the unit. EVA-01, one of the most advanced units in the history of mankind, was created by hard work from the members at NERV. Though it has no real weapons its fists are deadly and it has two advanced spirit knives that it can attack with.
 
This is kinda like comparing Formula 1 cars from the 70s to present day ones. Of course the present day ones--including Minardi, which is saying a whole lot since they completely suck . . . kinda like Mercedes' engine :lol: --would completely own just because the technology of today's are just unbelievably much farther ahead. If in EVA, they had the ability to develop an OF mech, then they would do so. It just like Minardi, if they had the money/resouces--this includes engineers, drivers, etc--then they could dominant Formula 1 like Ferrari has done as in recent times. There are limits to what can be done in each anime series--what Gokents is trying to say is, there have to be solutions developed to achieve what is possible in another series.
 
Unit-01, all Evas for that matter should be considered 'knights' more than anything else. The armor plates are just that, an armor (or 'restraining ties' as Ritsuko once said when Unit-01 "woke up") They're living-breathing creatures.
The way Asuka's Eva got torn and eaten in EoE and when Unit-01 went munching on the 14th angel pretty much removes all theories of them having circuits and microprocessors inside I'd say.

Hmmm, did a search, it seems interesting (of course it is!). I'm not into the whole Hentai thing.

Anyone see last week's South Park episode? It gave a little nod to the anime style while poking a little fun at it. 'It' being the monotonomus, generic, stereotypical crap that litters 90% of anime out there. Quite funny.
