Yeah I saw SHin chan for the first time in a LONG time and it cracked me up! It makes me wonder it they redub the dialouge a little or, is it unedited...

Death Note is awsome!

Hey Appie, nice to see you in this thread. :D

For the sake of asking, how did you find out about it?

^ I agree with on that one too. Plus it really never got my attention whatsoever. :indiff:

Well i like it:D. I just started checking Guerren Lagann. Really impressive stuff, im hooked up to it:)

-> I might watch TGL soon since everybody's (here and 2 other forums) raving about it, it better be good guys!

When do the DVDs for Gurren Lagann come out? I was looking forward to streaming it online through that one Anime Network service, but the trial period for GL seems to have ended. I'll probably have to end up blind buying it as such, but I don't think everyone's hype will let me down. :)

My rule of morality is this: If it's licensed, then no. I always try to buy it if it's available in the States (or wherever you live). If it's not, than get it by any means necessary. (I usually buy the DVDs if it gets licensed later, depending on the show)

How did you watch it before? Streaming? I actually prefer downloading it, because of higher picture quality, and torrents are usually the easiest way to do this. (Although I know a couple places for direct download, if your torrent speed sucks like mine.)

Arguably there's probably some gray area issue with streaming vs. downloading, but as long as you don't spread the files around after it's licensed, and try to support the industry, I think it's fine. :)

(Someone slap me with a wet trout if this violates the TOS.)

Speaking of Gurren Langann, I hope you like the wallpaper of Yoko that I have posted up in this post.:sly:👍

I was at a anime club meetiung last night and one of the titles I watched was Dennō Coil. It's set in the near-future where the people go about their daily lives with some of the people wearing special glasses that let's them see some virtual reality objects via specially designed eyeglasses and visors. It looked really good to me and I thought I should watch more of this title. :D

I actually didnt knew that. We don't get a lot of anime stuff. I mostly see Pokemon and Avater, so i download them.

I started watching Eureka 7. Good stuff.

CardCaptor, have you setup port forwarding on your router or anything? I got a 2000% increase in download speed after I forwarded the ports for uTorrent.

i started watching Teknoman and Ninja Nonsense. I must say that NN is really not funny at all. Never thought that there were this awful animes. I guess its not my style lol

Anyone have any information about when the second season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is going to start airing?

I'm a little out of the loop now and haven't been watching or following any series for the better part of a year, but I'm getting the urge to do so again.

Azuremen: Uhhhhhh...I think I do, but I haven't checked recently. Know I devoted a day to messing with the router a while back just to try to get faster DL speeds; but I think the fact that I share the internet with my family over a wireless connection may be at fault too.

Boundary: No announcement yet, but assuming that Haruhi S2 follows Clannad, it'll probably be in just under 3 months from now. I think Clannad is slated for 24, and they just released 15 this week, so that'd be 9 more weeks of that, and maybe a buffer period of a few weeks, and then hopefully back to ye old Nagato win-ness (well, they are animating the 4th book, supposedly) sometime in late April / early May.

Hmm, thanks, that's about what I figured. Guess I'll have to download more Shippuden, or finish up one of these other incomplete series on my drive... I've got about 12 that I started and let go for some reason: Dragonaut, Gundam00, Night Wizard, Busuo Renkin, Rental Magicka, The Third, KIBA, Shana Season 2, Utawarerumono, .....

Did I mention that I watched Shippuden's most recent episode?
Great stuff. 👍
I really enjoyed it and now I'm looking forward to not missing any episodes... It's funny, I watched it every week when it came out and lost track right before Naruto and the team showed up to meet Orochimaru's spy and now I've gotten back to it right after they met the spy and had a battle. Although I only missed two or three episodes I feel like I must have missed some of the best action in the series. :ouch:

Btw, I went to see what episode I watched... It was 43 and 44 was already out... Just watched 44 and it was a little boring but definately developed the story a great deal. :D

Did you give yourself a static IP then? Because all it would take is two computers to reset and get onto the network in a different order.

ipconfig in the cmd prompt to check your IP, and then check to see what ip the router is forwarding said ports too. BTW, what torrent program do you use anyhow? I use uTorrent and find it to be just amazing.

So a few months till more Haruhi, eh? I can wait, I think...

Indeed. Beats the pants off bitcomet or azureus or any of the other lesser known torrent clients I've tried. It amazes me, the amount of functionality the developers managed to cram into that small application.

Heh, I can't - I turned my room upside-down today to find the dvd's I burned S1 on to... but no avail :grumpy:

Contact me if you need some help, I store everything on an external HDD and kind of spend too much time involved in the anime community at a higher level... meaning dealing with the people that run stuff...

Laughable?
David Conrad from Detroit in the US says: "I hope that you'll give some consideration to a proposal from your former colonies! Cool, Britannia!"
If not, thats understandable.

Okay... Eureka Seven was great and all up till the last 5 episodes, and especially the last 2.

The last two basically had me going "Are you effing kidding me? This is how you end this? Srsly guys, fail."
