It's a trade-off. Good anime or lolis everywhere...
I'd say we're getting both right now. We just have to put up with the occasional 🤬 show that goes more loli than quality.... *glares at c3*
Honestly I don't know why you're even watching it. It doesn't seem like your kind of show and I'm only watching it because I'm a fan of the game. I will say the last episode was pretty lulzy though.
I thought we've been over this, you shouldn't judge what shows I'll like or not :p I have been enjoying it, but it's looowww priority.
Also Loli, how about you watch Fruits Basket instead?:sly:
The first episode was so stuuuuupiiiiiiiiiiiiddddd.

Older anime on average>Newer anime on average

So many 90's, and early 2000's shows are better than what I've seen in the past few years. Though I have seen many amazing gems of shows that have come out in the past few years.

I agree. While there have been some outstanding shows coming out recently the golden age of anime is gone.

I remember when you got mad at me when I said there were many shows I knew you wouldn't like such as Chu-Bra!!, and We, Without Wings: Under the Innocent Sky. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in this thread avoided those two shows like the plague.

Chu-Bra!!, it was barely not a waste of my time. I barely liked it, though I would be shocked if it ever got licensed outside of streaming on CR. This show though, most people definitely will hate it and drop it after episode 1. Bad storytelling, excessive fanservice, pretty stupid characters, and more. Though you could tell they were trying to make the show good with the odd subject matter.

We, Without Wings: Under the Innocent Sky, most people dropped it before getting halfway through episode 1. Show was confusing as hell until a certain point. Then it got better, I'm surprised it became an 8/10 show for me in the end instead of a 7/10 or 6/10.

Especially when apparently according to this, it hit it's peak in 2006.

I didn't see that thing until a couple months ago.

Shows like Fullmetal Alchemist, Excel Saga, InuYasha, Fruits Basket, Eureka Seven, those for example were really great shows.

Shows like Battle Girls: Time Paradox, We, Without Wings: Under the Innocent Sky, Chu-Bra!!, Dragon Crisis! (Filled with a ridiculous amount of cliches.), Yokuwakaru Gendaimaho (Wash basins, panties, and a very weak story FTW.<_<), all three Koihime Muso anime, not all that great(Especially Chu-Bra!!, good gawd.). Many were good, close to great, or pretty decent.

When I look at this, most of the shows I've given a 7/10 were shows that came out in the past few years. Most of the 9/10's I've given are mainly shows from before 2008, around the time the explosion of all these visual novel adaptions and moe shows happened.

No. Because Naruto. :p
Hey, I love my orange ninjas!!!!:grumpy:

It'll be automatically added whenever we go over that specific idea. :p

Well we just did. I don't see the problem here...

So anyways as you guys know I lost my fiancé in Skyrim a long time ago. The chick just vanished from my game. Well I think I found a new chick who's pretty hot. Dilemma, wait for my original chick or try to get with this new chick? What does TGAT think?

Hey, I love my orange ninjas!!!!:grumpy:

And that's okay. *pats head*

EDIT: That article doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The numbers and reasons don't seem right. But I'm sure you have an essay ready to explain to me why I'm wrong.

Thanks, I love having my head pat, my ninja hair gets patted all the time.:)Nice how if my hair was more blonde, I could cosplay as Naruto without even having to dye my hair.:lol:Well, I'd still need it to be spiky.

BTW AOS-, guess he has given you a lot of work. Get to it.:sly:

 You know what you signed up for. Just know that I support you Andy-kun! 👍

True story when I was little my parents would rub my head and I would go to sleep. Every. Time.

I love having people rub my head. When I had long hair it was great. Though now when I get a haircut I have it cut super short and after every haircut people love to rub my head. Still gets to me. Totally breaks my concentration.

Truth be told, I don't either (The US market numbers though are easy to understand.). Though one thing we definitely do know based off of shows now is they aren't taking as many risks as they once did (Can't really blame them.). They're playing it safe with otaku-bait like K-On!, and Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers. Those are mainly going to be sure-fire sales.

Nice how even popular manga can struggle now. The World God Only Knows, real popular Weekly Shonen Sunday title, both seasons sold absolutely horrible as I've heard (Each season's 6 singles combined sold roughly 2,000 each, so basically, 4,000 copies total.:ouch:).

Such a shame as it was a good show. I can only hope a season 3 could come in if the release here does well enough. It could help.

World God Only Knows can't sell... what manga-liking guys want to read a manga with a character that literally resembles themselves??? [/just being real]

When all OVER 9,000 Miku pics will be posted, we'll all be dead.:(

BTW, on the topic of manga sales, take a look at this. It's ridiculous. Best-selling manga of all-time, outsells this series which is the longest ever (It's 176 volumes, 102 more than One Piece.).

I understand them not taking as many risks and overall that's true but there have been some unique anime recently. That's a good thing at least.

 I just made a funny post in that thread. Thanks for looking at it when I happened to be in stalker mode or I never would have seen it. :)

Yup, I couldn't believe it when I learned how it sold a few months ago.

Most anime have their first single sell more than 1,000 copies. The World God Only Knows, each single (6 for each season) sold a few hundred, so each season resulted in 2,000 each for that poor 4,000. 4,000 copies for 24 episodes.

All this means is that, they have been watching from behind out head & shoulders, so just don't go thinking about slipping past that security... it creates a bad rap for the rest of us. And I don't mean rap as in a new case of child molestation accusation

Maybe it's their fault? I've heard of it but only through a friend of mine and I still don't even know what it's about. Advertising people! But even through just throwing it out there and being based off an already popular manga it still seems weird to have sold so little lol.

I skipped the 2nd half of my class to come home to have more time to type up my essay. What do I do instead? Spend more time here...I'm too damn comfortable in here.

*gives you a wedgie* That should take care of your comfortableness yep yep.

And shame on you for skipping class. Today was my last day until next Monday and it was difficult but I stayed right up until the end (secretly didn't want to come home).

I may hate Vocaloid, but that last Miku picture is all--out awesome.

aalso, guess what?

I almost forgot the song. Hello AOS. But no, I'm back as well. Screw you all:

Soul Eater's Paper Moon.
