Hmm. Yeah, JoshB, the only one I even recognize there is Maria Watches Over Us, and I haven't seen it. But, I see it near the top of ANN rankings, so if its theme/style are attractive to you, I'd say go for that.

And TC, yes, about 1/2 the time I follow your links. I love ANN, and I'm the "Index of the Anime thread", always devouring data, I appreciate the information about the industry that you bring to TGAT.

Josh, only thing I've seen on your list is B Gata H Kei, and I'd recommend it. It's pretty good and has a good bit of comedy in it.

And, Yamada is a retard.

Well thanks for your input anyway Jeff. My fandom goes past just watching shows, I'm interested in various things around it, and strive to learn more (And correct myself when I'm misinformed on things.). I like posting about this stuff. I can't even begin to tell you how long I waited to see something like this for example, licensing costs.

I'm not really shocked, but it is kinda surprising how something like Magikano is $65 K, but other things were way, way higher (Big mistakes were made it seems.). Licensing costs as I've heard are affected by things like production costs, how popular it is in Japan (Probably why Bakemonogatari for example hasn't been picked up. It now has a high asking price.), how it sold, and more.

BTW how is NHK? I intend on seeing it sometime this year.

But I'm going to be buying it in a few weeks!:(If only I could have ordered it yesterday. I'm at the mercy of my dad's paychecks. He owes me $250, and that number grew since very early December, the last time he paid me part of the money he owed.

Hopefully my dad truly is getting his bonus on the 15th.

BTW, you're getting EoE and the two Rebuild movies also, right?
 
Nah, I think TC is going to get NGE, and once you start, nobody in their right mind is going to stop until they finish.

And Nausicaa, yes.

And NHK on Hulu? definitely. Hilarious. But even better if you have some life experience with being a Hikikomori/NEET.

That will have to wait until later. I'll be getting both Rebuilds this year, and I'm waiting for FUNimation to get EoE. In their latest Q&A, they stated they are interested in picking up EoE (After someone asked if they were interested in getting it.), and the Death & Rebirth film.

I'll be surprised if they never pick it up. Apparently the Rebuild movies sold 100K+ each which is a rarity for anime here these days. They have to get what sells, so why not anything Eva that's still up for grabs (Including the TV series now.)?
 
Am I the only one failing to see how Another is apparently creepy and scary?
 
There, now Lain can't kill me for not suggesting it to them. They do look at that thread and take the suggestions into consideration.

Neon Genesis Evangelion-The show just disappeared from the PlayStation Store now, a clear sign that the license has expired for Sentai. Not to mention the DVD's are OOP now. Pick up what will sell real well (Rebuilds I heard sold 100K+, a rarity for anime here these days.).
