The only thing that's really preventing me from getting really, really deep into Forza 4 is that I have to use my brother's X360 to play it.

Go to single player. Look at the races. They are all the same. Yeah they have autocross and Nurburgring challenges, but other than that every race feels the exact same. And the ones on the far right could have been championships, but no. Race this race, and then race it again!

In the online mode, the tracks needs to be random, not just a set rotation. Also the full Nurburgring is in the rotation for multi-class Lemans, but not la Sarthe...

You should actually be allowed to choose which track you wanna use.

Yeah, I'll agree that the paltry A-Spec mode in GT5 is extremely disappointing. I'm pretty sure GT2 has more events, actually.

I really miss the special manufacturer's races. Nowadays the only way to do a Race of the Red Emblem is to set up an online lobby called "Skylines Only", and some trolls are still going to show up in chromed Lambos.

I'm off to bed, I've got 3 more Death Note episodes to look forward to tomorrow...even though I spoiled it for myself by looking up Death Note memes...

Yeah, I'll agree that the paltry A-Spec mode in GT5 is extremely disappointing. I'm pretty sure GT2 has more events, actually.

GT3 has more events, and if it doesn't, it sure as hell feels like it.

I only play GT5 every now and then so I don't get hands-on experience with how each individual update changes things, but I haven't noticed or heard of any features being broken by the updates.

And you won't because unlike every other developer that releases a quick-fix/patch, followed by release notes, you won't (won't) know what's fixed other than what they dare to mention. Do you know how pathetic I find it that we have to poke and prod every update and report fixes and new issues along the way. Really? Whatever happened to, I don't know, quality assessment?

Regarding the state of GT5 at initial launch, it was perfectly fine. I have no idea what makes you think the game was in an unreleasable state. And although I don't personally like it, it's common practice nowadays to fix a few minor bugs post-launch. Turn 10 and Forza is no exception to this, either.

Except it wasn't. I don't remember the full extent of it's problem when it hit the shelves, but I'll run through what I can remember:

- Route 7 had artifacts and texture color distortion at various points throughout the track.
- The R8 5.2 had a V8.
- The G25 and G27 were not officially supported.

I can't remember anything else. The only thing truly significant is the first example.

Regarding DLC, I never took issue with Turn 10 selling DLC. PD does it, and yeah, their initial vision for GT5 where you buy the cars and tracks you want individually was pretty repulsive.

I also have no problem with paid DLC, it was one of the things I was most looking forward to for GT5. My problem is the way they initially tried to pass it off - the pretty much tried to pull an XBL; every account you pay for the DLC. You pay for one-time use paint chips (paint chips, seriously?) and then what's even worse is, as I've said before, they (Sony, PD, I don't care) still found a way to undermine us. How? You wanted that FT86 Concept II? You either have had to already purchased the DLC (Family pack) twice, or you would have to buy something from the first DLC over again. What?

-> Kenshin's story is soooo easy to watch! I used to watch the series back in the Philippines when I was in High School (in Tagalog dub). It gives me such nostalgic relief!
