So I finished that drawing:

I know what I should do next time if I want to get something that looks real pretty.

So i answer you, first post:

I watch anime, ocasionaly.
I may be without knowing.
Favourite series is Ghost in the Shell SAC
Favourite Anime Movie is Ghost in the Shell (1st)

Watched many other series and Movies including K-ON, InitialD, Akira, Spirited Away, Time Traveling Girl Etc.
I have to admit Japanese anime has always been apreciated by me to a certain point. I don't like Repetitive anime that circles about 1000 episodes of the same teenager with superpowers that beats 20 guys with his mental streinght and stuff like this...
I'm more into Ghost in the Shell than any anime ever, it was my first anime watched and the most apreciated.
To thise that have seen it and apreciated at least half as i have i salute you.

Might as well introduce myself too:

I watch anime from time to time, but I wouldn't call myself an 'anime freak' yet. One anime that is my favorite regardless is Clannad. Everything about it is very memorable to me, and has an adorable atmosphere to it. Other than that, I've watched a couple of others, both movie & a series - can't name them on the top of my head, though :p

As to what the guy en quotes said, I avoid the 'cliche' anime (e.g. Naruto) & focus on anime that is otherwise. I'd also would like to read manga, but the stakes to obtain each volume accordingly is quite difficult where I live (I could go online & do it that way, but I find it 'odd' to read through a digital screen).

I also draw anime-based works from time to time. However, they do not look all too well since I'm a noob to drawing stuff like this (used to drawing inanimate objects). Fortunately, I am making a bit of progress slowly and I hope I can expand my experience here, perhaps.

I think I was here in this thread many months ago, but I felt like reintroducing myself would make a nice return :)

I am always a fan of Naruto Shippuden and some of their scenes are really cool. I always get some ideas on how to survive from the trials of life and this what the main character tries to imply to me. I am a fan of anime in all seasons and it makes me a kid whenever I watched this stuff. It's a big help to enjoy life while watching anime.

Nice to have all the new members to the thread! Welcome, guys!

Normally, I'd slam people who like the Naruto franchise and tell them to gtfo. But I'm nice.

welcome, new guy.

Welcome to all the new posters, come back here often and you'll enjoy your stay. Also, the finished drawings looks good, Aos. It'd look loads better if the shadows were more defined and less... blurred. Also, her left foot should be in total shadow with the exception of a tiny splash of light. The shadow should be as dark as in the inner part of her left knee at least.

Rare footage of AOS saying something bout FZ

Season 1 was boring. Season 2 is so much better.

It was darker before, but because the skin tone got too gray and ugly when I applied the colour, I totally forgot to darken the peachier tone I use as a shadow.

1 post last night...dammit, this place is dead.

Nice OADA though.

Finished Aria at like 3 in the morning.

100% Feels Good. This is a show to watch if you want slice of life that isn't school girls all happy and frolicking in their youth.

What did you do the shadows with? Brushes? Or straight-on dodging?

Brushing with grays on Multiply. I should have probably used Dodge and Burns since they can discolour your base colour, which is what I'd want. Will have to play around with those next time.

In any case, I must make this announcement:

Hair's not as detailed as I personally like, but those wings are beautiful and I must applaud their solution to the base.

Preorders open tonight at 11pm EST.

Adding money to my paypal.

Only thing stopping me is that I know I can get much more detailed figurines like this one:

Which one should I get?

Use Dodge on mid tones or maybe shadows in low settings, and that will do the trick. Also, that figurine came out pretty good. How much?

$177 USD. Believe it. One of the biggest (if the absolute biggest) price tag on 1/8 figurines ever. Even Saber doesn't cost as much, and Saber requires 3 times more material and likely weighs 2 times as much as Madoka does.

Both. There's no one.

I watched Cardcaptor Sakura and Searching for the Full Moon. Both of those are pretty good. I liked them.

Hmm, what next anime I should watching? Maybe "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha"?

Holy hell. Talk about overpriced. They sure are milking on the show's success.

Could be worse:
Resident Evil’s protagonist Leon S. Kennedy has become a pretty stylish guy since moving away from his straight-laced RPD officer duds and altar boy haircut. I guess barely surviving a zombie outbreak awakens a man’s hunger to dress well while enjoying what little we have of this crazy thing called life. Anyway, he had a pretty mean fur/leather coat in Resident Evil 4, and his motorcycle jacket in Resident Evil 6 is looking even more bad-ass. Guess what? You can look just like Leon for the, eh... unique price of $1,300.

Silconera has translated the Japanese-only advertisement for the premium edition of the game, which retails for 105,000 yen. It includes four exclusive tablet covers – one featuring Chris, Leon, Wesker’s son Jake Muller, and a secret character – and, of course, the game itself.

Or, you could just walk into your local mall and buy pretty much the same thing, with enough cash to spare to buy your entire extended family copies of RE 6. But it’s your money, who am I to judge? It does looks pretty warm. And those pockets could problem fit lots of green herbs and spare handgun bullets. Maybe the leather is tough enough to protect against gnashing human teeth. Who knows? It might be the purchase that saves your life.
