It's going to be around 26 episodes. It just got solicited in Japan with 9 volumes, so that's a sign it's going to be that long.

NEWS -> New DBZ film on the way! 👍

Right, that's a good sign.
Though i expect they'll be doing two season with 13/14 episode per season since that's most of the anime trend nowdays.

You need to watch Fate/Zero. GC bombed so hard.

Well, if you say so, i'll go watch Fate/Zero then. >3>
Since most of the people i met convince me to watch it. I just hope it won't disappoint me.

They won't as if that's what they were doing, they'd solicit 6 volumes with 2 episodes each, not 9 volumes with 2-3 episodes each.

Wouldn't be surprised if they made it a split-season show. Just another way to make more money (Not like this stuff makes anyone rich), and improve the quality of the animation by giving the underpaid and overworked animators more time./IndustryTC

EMERGENCY HERO KIT!

So, has anyone who still posts here checked out Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse yet? I think it has potential, considering that only 3 episodes have been released yet.

Episode 2 was awesome. The problem is that I'm not fond of any of the characters. I still love those body suits though. MMM!!! Anyways, I hope the show picks up. I really want to like it.

Made my sister watch Madoka with me, so it's my first rewatch.

Gosh darn does 720p look really nice on the TV upstairs. Anyway, I really enjoyed seeing the architecture style in Madoka's world; her house is boss, their school is massive, the mall is high-class, every thing is made of glass. Though I was expecting a gasp from her in episode 3, she did tell me it is so far really enjoyable. I didn't answer any questions related to what the characters are going to do, I will however share my thoughts on the show because I want to hear what her perspective is, being someone who doesn't watch a lot of anime.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Hah.

Anyway, we finished it last week. I told her that the theme was about Deception. She disagreed and told me the theme was there is no such ideal as a solution that is perfect; every wish has a drawback of some kind regardless of how minute it is. The Theory of Balance comes into play, as well as Yin-Yang where hope and despair lie in each path of life.

I must say I have to agree with that.

I would of agreed with her. However, I am surprised that you didn't see it like that when you first saw it.

It was so obvious, but I was too caught up on the thought of deception which alone made me love the show.

I remember I made the quick judgement saying Madoka was probably going to be the best 2011 show (imo). Now I'm wondering if there has been a show in that year I've watched that surpassed it.

The problem is that I'm not fond of any of the characters.

I'm pretty sure you thought the same of Asuka when you first watched ep. 8 of NGE. :p I'll wait until ep. 6 to see whether the characters are developed enough.

Like their chests.

Now, how many 2011 shows did I find better than Madoka?

-Usagi Drop-Anime of the year 2011.
-Hunter x Hunter (2011)
-Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou
-Towa no Quon Movie 4
-Towa no Quon Movie 6
-Gosick
-Symphogear-Barely a 2011 show because it premiered near the end of December 2011.
-AnoHana
-Steins;Gate
-.hack//Quantum
-Fate/Zero
-Hanasaku Iroha
-Freezing
-IS: Infinite Stratos
-Kore wa Zombie desu Ka?
-Nichijou

That be 16 anime. If we were to do every single I have ever watched, this list would be significantly longer.:p

Also, these 2011 anime I have yet to try may beat out Madoka as well, which would make this 19 anime I find better than Madoka.

Nichijou's great but certain parts of the show were so boring, especially the latter half where they try to move a "story" forward. It's not boring for moe-suckers, because they would have easily ate up all the baits, but man were some of the writers' jokes not funny.

I understand it's not my humour, but going back to what was the best 2011 show for me (ooh narcissist), those remarks about Nichijou don't make it overall the best 2011 show for me. F/Z S1 was slow-talk, Iroha doesn't advance anywhere above a 7, Steins;Gate was a little dragged out and less mind-blowing than Madoka, and Freezing I don't have to explain why its not a top 2011, let alone a top show of all time.

TC, Symphogear has absolutely nothing on Madoka.

I am gonna be starting Usagi Drop soon. Looks like it will pull on my heartstrings, but I doubt it will be as good either.

No one cares.

Plus, part of the experience is watching it as it airs, which I don't think you did.

As much as I love Nichijou, I would never compare it to Madoka. Compared to Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, and other SoL/Comedys, it is one of the best.

No one cares.

This. Specially after you passed judgement on it having aparently understood half of the show or something like that. Your opinion on it was so short-sighted that, even if I have only seen two of those shows you listed (and Madoka, of course) I know you're freaking wrong. And one of them is Nichijou, which makes me lol at your list.

Cano has a good point. The deeper, more thought provoking aspects of the show seems to have flown completely over your head.

For example, did you ever give much thought to the consequences of Madokas wish?

That must be why you feel less thought provoking shows are better. Like Kore wa Zombie, Infinite Stratos, And Nichijou.

I am a big fan of Fate/Zero but there were a lot of parts that I skipped through. Madoka is different.
I have a huge favor to ask: Could you find these Nendoroid or at least the names of these characters and where I can get them.
