Okay, so my middle school's having a semi-formal dance to celebrate our graduation from this prison school. So I thought maybe I could ask her to go to the semi with me. Me right now:

My advice : just be brave and go for it like you've got nothing to lose. It's a lot better than regretting not taking a chance. Good luck to all of you, hope you guys can end up a lot better than me.

Abit off topic here but does anybody know what Ted from HIMYM really feels about Robin ? I wanted to say that like @ProjectWHaT said, the girl i'm talking about in this thread is like Robin but im not sure if im right lol

That's the same thing I've been repeating to myself. I'm feeling a little better about my situation though.

I am such an idiot. I noticed the girl from my English class looking over at me, and I wanted to look back, but I was way too much of a combination of shy and nervous to look back. :banghead:
Just tell yourself that she was looking at the booger hanging out of your nose and looking at her would have made it worse. :dopey:

Erm...guys...quick question:

What to do when your mom walks in and finds you...err...doing that...with somebody?

We're both really freaking out here with the door closed.

Well thanks. *shrugs off some past* Well. Now Future and beyond.

Go hide under your bed for a couple of days. And after that get out. And just think nothing happened between you and mum. Jk.

She'll get over it. Or she will ground you in your room for the rest of your life.

^ I nominate that as the most awkward post in GTP history.

I don't have an answer, sorry.
Might as well continue. Damage has been done

I'm very sorry guys, that's what happens when your girlfriend jokingly says "Why don't you post that in that forum or blog of yours" and you have some Bacardi on your head and your laptop on GTPs homepage .

Actually, when I stepped out of my room and into my mom's to talk about it she couldn't hold her laughter. We all laughed our butts off and thankfully she didn't saw much. If something like this happens to you, just dress up as quickly as you can and take it with a sense of humour, it'll be much better that way!

I text my mom in advance... Something like "I am not alone..." Or such.

If they know that something is up, they'll do what they need to, in order to avoid seeing it.

---------------

However, some parents will see it as a good thing. You're getting some... They could (depending on your sexuality) be grand parents soon! My mom was excited at the mere thought that "hey, wow, in a few years, I could be a grandma!" My dad, when he saw the girl, was in disbelief that I was with the girl I was with. (my dad never really had girlfriends much - his choice)

No reason to stop. Keep trucking.

I declined a chicks number at the hookah lounge. I regret it though. She was cool. I felt tense because of the sheer amounts of sweaty people there, was fun.

You go to gtplanet, of course. Well done!

Bacardi? Well there's your problem.

Living at home. That is your problem.

That's one way to give people the wrong idea about your sexuality

...knowing from experience... Gah. It's almost like not feeling attracted to one person makes you "gay." I had people asking if I was gay for a week after declining a date with a girl whom I found repulsive and intimidating.

No, 6'7" girl, I don't want to date you. Thanks for saying I look good, my 5'7" girlfriend tells me often. No, that doesn't make me gay.

... for those times when logic fails.

I really hate it when almost everyone i know keep asking : "why dont you make a move her ?" When they know i want to move on from her. They knew that she is interested in older guys (we're the same age) but they still told me to go get her when nothing could ever happen which is like beating on a dead horse.

Jesus man, some people...

Based on your comment that "everyone keeps asking...", that tells me that you haven't even breached the subject with her and as such you have no idea if
nothing could ever happen
or not.

You can't expect to win the game if you won't even play. And if you play and lose, who cares. Better than sitting here pouting about it.

Just ask, if she says no then move on. Feelings wise, I am sure we have been through it but we got to keep moving to find the "right" one.

Again, just my ecause you ask your friend out, doesn't mean you can't still be friends.
Again, two of my best friends, nicknamed Scarecrow and Roach, are still my best friends despite having asked them out.

In fact, they're two of the three people I talk to about other girls.

It doesn't even have to interfere with your friendship.

Oh believe me, me and her have been talking about this in the past. She says she wants to be friends thats all. Everyone knows that but still pressuring me.

I already tell them that she wants to be friends and i'm okay with that but they still want me to go get her, they even said that she could have a change of hearts. Starting to feel like they really wanted me us to be together or something. I wanted to move on but it seems like they're the ones who can't because they keep asking about it.
