So, from my eyes, it looks like slim pickings from modern FF sport sedans that might be on PD’s radar:

  • Honda Civic Type R ‘08
  • Hyundai i30/Elantra N ‘24
  • Hyundai Elantra Sport ‘17

Off the wall cars would be the return of the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and a not even going to happen Chevy Cobalt SS sedan manual.
An Accord 2.0T is pretty darn quick, but a sport sedan it ain’t.
Do you see any possibility of older FF sport sedans such as the Alfa Romeo 156 GTA?

Obviously, I have no insider information and strictly guessing and trying to think like PD.
Sure, it could be added to the short list I made. However, I'd think the only possibility is because that car has a six-cylinder. However, it's not 4wd and it's not a couple or hatch.

I'd just think by the cars that have been added, we'd more likely see a 147 before an FF sedan.
Look at the cars in the just revealed silhouettes:
4WD and hatchbacks.

The 156 GTA is definitely special enough. We'll keep waiting to see what we get.

My Wishlist for Gran Turismo 7

Rallycross Maasmechelen (Duivelsberg)

I’ve been there many times and have countless great memories of it. It’s a track that was always fun and essential to race on.
The mix of asphalt and gravel, the elevation changes, and the technical corners make it a unique layout.
It’s fast, varied, and perfect for exciting races.
It would be amazing to see this circuit in Gran Turismo 7.

Volkswagen Polo GTI RX (2018)
One of the most impressive rallycross cars of its time. Lightweight, powerful, all-wheel drive – perfect for fast, technical tracks.

Ford Focus RS 2009
A true hot hatch with aggressive looks and solid performance.

Audi S1 EKS RX quattro
Small, fierce, and built for tight, fast rallycross circuits – ideal for GT7’s rally events.

Peugeot 208 WRX
With its turbocharged power and compact chassis, it’s made for short, explosive RX circuits like Maasmechelen.

Nissan Primera Touring Car
Deserves a spot in Gran Turismo 7 as a tribute to the golden era of touring car racing.

BMW M Motorsport M4 GT3 (2021)
A modern top-class GT3 car with powerful performance, advanced aerodynamics, and cutting-edge race tech.
It definitely belongs in GT7’s GT3 category.

Two manufactors, BMW and McLaren needs alot more cars, all the flagship models are missing. Newest McLaren is 2014 650s coupe. 765lt or 750 would be awesome, hell even the 720s would be huge upgrade. No need to say anything about BMW, almost every performance model is missing.

Any Super TC2000 V8 era car
And do you have a LIST of such cars you'd WISH for in this WISH LIST thread?
We'd like to see things into which some thought has gone ... If you're posting every Ford Fiesta ever made ... you're not really doing that ... And don't just post pictures, or make individual posts for individual cars - it's a wishlist thread.

And do you have a LIST of such cars you'd WISH for in this WISH LIST thread?
-2018 Renault Fluence Super TC2000 Race Car (last year of the V8 engines)
-2024 Toyota Corolla Stock Car Brasil (last year of the V8 sedans)
-2016 Citroen C-Elysee WTCC (last year of WTCC)
-2018 Holden Commodore V8 Supercar (last year of V8 Holdens)

Y'know, I've been thinking a bit about concept vehicles, and I feel like we could use more older concept cars, like how we have the Mazda RX500. Of course, I feel like there are many concepts that would now be entirely unnecessary, like the Toyota FT-86, the Nissan Z Concept, or the Suzuki Concept S2, which respectively were developed into the Toyota 86, the Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33) and the Suzuki Swift. Indeed, I don't even think the Mazda Iconic SP concept will be a must-have, seeing how a production version will be here quite soon. But what about concept cars like the Cadillac Cien, or the Toyota Motor Triathlon Race Car? That's just as far as returning concepts go, too, let alone machines like the Jaguar C-X75.

For what it's worth, I'm also still fine with the FT-1 and its two VGT variants being in the series, despite more or less being a prototypical GR Supra. (Though on that note, I do think Toyota should craft an additional VGT.)

I think it would be fun to have the Pontiac Banshee myself. Or as unlikely as it would be due to the naming controversy: a return of the Dodge Concept Car. I'd also take the Volkswagen Nardo or Ford GT90 as well.

Actually putting thought into it, I'd really love to have the Dodge Concept Car back

Interesting how PD continue to do the “old and new” with car additions.

The Citroën DS21 is in and now we have the BX. Sure, a DS 5 would be the more recent relative of the DS21, but the BX is exactly in the middle(fifth generation out of nine generations) of the self-levelling hydraulic system of Citroëns.
PD have done this with many of the cars in game. I just added this to suggestions:

It’s before the Renault Megane(several generations have been and are currently represented in the GT franchise) and after its spiritual grandfather, the R8. PD adding something new and different in the Citroën BX, the Renault 9 seems ripe to be added. It’s not the requisite hot hatch, but would be a new and welcome FF sedan to the franchise.

A lot of new cars i would add to polish GT7/8 carlist

Please keep your posts to a reasonable length; think about things you'd really want, if someone was holding you at knifepoint for a quick answer.
I think you'd have been stabbed by the sixth BMW. Also you've named a race car that literally doesn't even exist.

As I've not done one in a while (#1, #2), here's an example of a not-one-car, not-excessive, knifepoint wishlist - and I've either voted for or suggested every one of these in the Suggestions forum 'cos I'm not lazy. Well, I am, just not in this regard:

And let's say... Potrero de los Funes Circuit for the track, because just look at it.

I'd especially like the 806, just because people have been clamoring for supertourers since GT7 dropped, and it would be funny in a monkeys paw way to finally get one.... In the form of a people mover ;)

🇲🇾 Wishlist: Please Add Proton Cars & Sepang International Circuit to Gran Turismo 7!

Hi Polyphony Digital & GT Community 👋

I’d like to request the addition of Proton cars and the legendary Sepang International Circuit in Gran Turismo 7.

---

🏁 Why PROTON deserves a place in GT7:

Proton has motorsport history, including in the WRC with the Proton Satria Neo S2000.

They produced some iconic models like:

Proton Satria GTi

Proton Wira 1.8EXi rally version

Proton Inspira (Mitsubishi Lancer platform)

Proton X50 & X70 (modern turbo crossovers)

A Proton in GT7 would represent a major brand from Southeast Asia — millions of players would relate to these cars.

---

🏟️ Why SEPANG should be in GT7:

One of the best F1-grade circuits in Asia — great for both GT and endurance races.

Designed by Hermann Tilke: challenging corners, high-speed straights — perfect for Gr.3, Gr.4, and wet weather events.

---

💡 The combo idea:

Sepang + Proton Satria GTi Cup in GT7 Sport Mode = epic regional showdown 🇲🇾🏆

Please consider putting Malaysia on the Gran Turismo map 🙏
– A GT7 fan from Malaysia 🇲🇾
