I think the problem is that the title doesn’t accurately reflect the intent of the theme. Nothing about the title says “disturbing” or “heretical”, and those who only skim the details are bound to have this issue.

Love the theme though! After a BMW livery on a Supra and a McLaren livery on a Ferrari, this should be right up my alley :)

I had a cool backstory for my Petronas idea. For this one I have no fan fic: I just wanted to create something with colorshift and with a ludicrous and hard to ignore colors and design.

Well, I went for an iconic sponsor that is pretty much tied to just one car: the Mazda 787. I always wanted to do something with colorshifting, and a revisited Renow Charge livery had to feature shifting colors in order to achieve the same "screaming" effect that the original had back in the day! I didn't want to just plot the old design on a Porsche, so I spent pretty much all the Inkscaping I never knew creating some fade square patterns as seen throughout the car.

Also tried to match the old Mazda partners and suppliers where possible: so there is NGK Spark Plugs and Bilstein decals on the RSR car and the wheels supplier is Rays, as opposed to the standard BBS. The 787 car didn't had any petrol/oil supplier evident, so I went with Petrobras/Lubrax on my own creative freedom. And I always go with Michelin tyres because, well, I love Bibedun :D, so no Dunlops. In an effort to reflect the original livery, the car has all the mandatory Le Mans stickers and number plate sized to fit the regulations (@ArtificialSky did those and they are extremely useful) and it features the German flag on the hood as mandated by Le Mans regulations (I'm assuming this would be a factory entry, so that's why it isn't Japanese). As always, it's full Sport mode compatible.

I kinda surprised myself finding that I have a livery that fit this theme perfectly. Inspired by the colorful Apple Porsche 935 K3 ran in a handful of races in 1980, I went for a modern style of that livery to contrast the simple logo of Apple have today.

Not wanting to put the livery on the current 911, I decided to put it on something "chic". The Peugeot RCZ Gr.3 is the car that is given the honors.

2015. FCA scored the biggest marketing coup the car industry has seen in the last years. They paid incredible 55 Million Dollar to be the new manufactor in the James Bond franchise. 9 years after Casino Royale and the Aston Martin DB9R they put the new Bond Viper to LeMans.
The crowd was shocked to see that they came up with a pretty identical design as the Aston. Because of budget cutting due the massive costs for product placement, their design department was reduced to a coffee addicted donkey and two pretty smart dogs who learned to push copy + paste.

Livery is fully sport mode compatible! Adjusted equipment sponsors towards Dodge. No animals got harmed during production.

I’ve reworked the presentation text. Although I’d say if some people read only the title and not the complete rules, it seems logical that they have issues ;)

Your Warsteiner Supra and my « Opel » TT on @Raphaele’s Lemons theme were indeed the inspiration for this round!
 
I read the OP over and over and actually it took some time before I got it. Now it seems to me a simple and unique theme which will bring a lot of fun and creative designs. It's worth it to make some inquiries to find the best matching couple.

As soon as I saw the theme I thought of this for the competition. Based specifically on the 1995 championship winning car as A, it's the most famous B, was from the year I was born and C, Colin won the title about an hour away from where I live. To add even more herecy to the pot not only is the livery on a Mitsubishi it's also on a race car not a rally car. I also considered doing this on a Honda as BAR ran a one off 555 livery in practice for the 2004 Chinese GP, also the less said about that 99 zipper livery the better. Now excuse me I feel so dirty from my entry I'm going for a shower.
