I read this brief as an opportunity to take an old classic and recreate it with some creative freedom.
I think I'm going to do something like that.
Great job on your entry, even if some people may have had a heart attack seeing it! :D

So many great entries so far, I still haven't found what I'm gonna do, and how I'm gonna do it!
When you're not a TC specialist, there are some obvious liveries, maybe too much, so a personal vision might be a good idea to do something different.

Still two weeks left, I hope I'll find something before the end of the month! 😅

Thanks! I like breaking out from conventions and making something no one else is going to make... and I don't mind if it rubs people up the wrong way from time to time!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Ok, so, since my past entry was not a touring car but a LM car, I decided to delete my previous one and make a new one on a new post:

This is a replica inspired by the Alfa Romeo 156 superturismo, which competed in the BTCC and in the Italian Superturism Championship (yes, that's its name). More specifically, this one was inspired by the #4 driven by Nicola Larini, though I will admit, it's not a 100% accurate replica: since the 156 has more smooth surfaces, I had to cut some Selenia stripes from the side and the roof since they didn't come out as well as I would have liked, plus since there aren't lots of pics of the car on the internet, I had to resort on using various different 156s as a reference, which, again, makes it not 100% accurate, but I couldn't have done much better personally.

@Drex124 I made that livery on the AMG A43 on GTS, but when i uploaded it to GT7 the wrong old spice boat was uploaded.

Here's my entry, based on the Mazda Xedos 6 of Patrick Watts, from the BTCC in 1993. The 90's threw up some brilliantly garish liveries and colour combos, and this is a great example. Built by the relatively small outfit of Roger Dowson Engineering, in a bid to bring Mazda to the Super Touring era. It showed flashes of pace, earning Patrick Watts his only pole position in the BTCC, and a handful of respectful 4th place finishes, but sadly that was it. A lack of funding and resources meant the the team, and Mazda themselves, pulled out after 1994, and the planned 1995 entry with a new 323F never happened.

It's a livery I've had sitting around, largely untouched since I imported it from GTS, so it needed work. Initially the plan was to turn it into a modern, 2022 BTCC entry, but I didn't like the way the Kwik Fit decals and lack of number boards looked. Instead I felt it was better to turn it into a modern 'redux' if you will. Keeping the original decals and number boards, but changing to their modern versions to fit with the Atenza's up-to date style. Whilst keeping it close to the original livery.

Hi everyone, here my first-ever entry for livery editor competition, so hopefully this is a valid one. I'm using Megane Trophy (Gr.4 cars) that suit best as the modern version of my reference.
Check out the livery and enjoy!

I thought I should add my entry before someone else got the same idea lol. I was working on a Super Taikyu but it wasn't screaming TOURING CAR at all. So what's more than a German car with a beer sponsor? I chose the 155 since it's just a nice car which fits the theme and production year I think. The replica car:

Anyone want to use it, download the open livery here:

Would this be a valid entry?
What is it based off? Personally I'd already be offended by it wearing GT300 number boards

Taking it to modern times Super Taikyu would be more fitting, ST-Z probably. If you want I can send you the whole decal set for that series.
