My 599 is so fast, i don't need to, but often do anyway
@SuperDiscoDaz- 3:23, i got a 3:17 out of mine once

I think its a pretty easy event... I finish around 6 seconds ahead of the 2nd place without cutting the chicanes. I admit I've thought about doing it just to sabe a few seconds but i'm still managing to control myself

when im in my grind mode i cut it all:) both chicanes, the right hander before the straight all of it...so far ive used

f40-3:40.xx
this car is a handful for me,praianos tune is great but i guess i dont have the finesse to drive it consistantly.

430 scud-3:19.xx
again praiano tune is solid the car is fast and stable

599-3:23.xx
praiano tune with some tweaks,it feels like a more stable enzo that turns waaaay better, its comfortable going fast.

458-3:17.xx
i hated this car i dont know why but i just refused to use it,now that i have i really think its the best all around car, stupid stable, fast and turns while on power...not as ballistic as the enzo or the 599 but its a great drive and again praianos la macchina tune on it with some tweaks for a little more top end.

enzo-3:13.xx
by far thee most ballistic in the bunch, even without cutting im able to run done the other enzos before the first chicane,it takes a little bit to be able to drive it fast but when you do hold on!

Wrong thread bro, this is the thread for people who aren`t cutting chicanes to make them feel better when they post a incredible fast lap time.

IMO this race can be won with any ferrari in GT5, ok the 512BB maybe not.

My best lap with the Enzo is a 3:36.9, with the Scud 3:45,3:44 with the 599.
Im yet to test the F40. I think the 599 has plenty of potential, it has tons of power, I just can`t unlock it.

edit: It can even be won without using racing softs. On my first try with the Enzo, I forgot to change my tires (sport softs) and raced with it. Alot of fun (+900hp, 1050kg weight, no traction control, poor tires) but I still won with a 3:48 IIRC.

Ummm...Yes!!
Both 458 and Scud are capable of taking BOTH Enzos at the end of the Mulsanne straight.

Agreed. My Scuda isn't maxed out on power and has very little modification. I found that with a good tune and hundreds of laps of practice I was catching the Enzos just after the slow corner at the end of the Mulsanne or at Arnage.

I used my 458 italia and didn't need to. I used the lions den performance tune for it on one of them and I love that set up

I just did the drifting one and got my gold with the ft86 and I had different tires on so I went back to the Ferrari race because I want the citroen gt race car and I was finishing in 2nd and 3 and about 20 seconds slower than my normal mid 3:40's. I changed the oil just wondering did another race and thought are the ai getting better. Then checked my tires and didn't have racing soft on:crazy: and went right back to speeding past the Enzos. Also earlier I had 2 Enzos in my race now I just have 1.

Thanks too: DrSlump , RKM , MFT , Skunkyskunk ..., and other tuners I HONESTLY DID'NT CUT ANYTHING nor anyone for that matter, but i can't say : "It was easy" , it wasn't really hard either.
But the tunes helped..., so THANK YOU TUNERS:tup: Greetings stano666 :)

I like cutting all the chicanes if I'm just aiming at getting money :P

200 MPH on the first stretch of the Mulsanne
> RA Menu up
> ASM on
Pass through the first chicane by cutting
> ASM off
> RA Menu down

Then I just repeat on the other chicanes/etc

I honestly can do it in my almost stock Enzo, all it has (had) was sport mediums and sport suspension. And no SRF. No chicane cutting, no use of brown run-off area. HONESTLY!!!!

Trying for a lowest clean lap is a nice challenge. However, when grinding, cutting rocks! Hell, I even cut the grass while cutting the chicanes!

i used a almost full tuned f430, didnt cut at all, passed the enzo at the last corner and won.

Same here - no reason to cheat.

I've done a few extra runs and with a little practice the Enzo can be beat by several seconds, there is much time to be gained passing as many cars as possible before the first straight and then by slip streaming. At the check-point after the straight I'm normally around 4-5 seconds behind the leader needing only to pass the two Enzo's in the front.

Before I decided to cut every chicane and shortcut available during grind sessions, I actually beat this race using the 458 Italia, fully-tuned, and Praiano's tune.

I admit that it took me a few tries to beat it cleanly on my DS3, as I had to get used to the Ferrari's power and making the most of it, without spinning the wheels coming out of corners, but it was a fun race. I had more trouble on the Autumn Ring for some reason. :boggled:

I won legit the first time with a stock enzo.

Every time after that...
Cut as much as possible. Saves time, gives me money, I want to race fast on Sarthe I go into a brand new LMP.

I agree totally with you about the Enzo, fun in just about in state of tune. Fully tuned, it's a face stretcher :dopey:

For some reason my Enzo sometimes has that acceleration problem like the Prius where it just seems to keep getting faster and it won't brake so I have to cut the chicanes. Only happens when grinding if im looking for a close race it doesn't happen

i did it without cutting the chicanes or the very last corner, in the ferrari F430 '06, tht car is a beast!!

Best Lap Time: 3.55.021
