A tribute to Porshce 930 Turbo - born in the golden era of turbo cars and a legend among street racers :D The build is based on RUF BTR.

Real car - click on the picture for article chapter 3.

Krister ‘Sibbe’ Svahn’s PORSCHE 930 TURBO 430HP-470HP / 650HP-750HP

The car intrigued me, I wonder how it felt to drive a modified Porsche from the 80's, with that much power :) So I used a RUF BTR, do some custom engine tuning to prepare for the required power output.

The build utilizes the turbo kits that came with the car to make it easy for the owner to increase boost. It has 4 preset power, a special custom low rpm turbo kit preinstalled in tuning sheet A producing 430HP ( 1 Bar tune in real life ). Adding ECU, and some other bolt on part increases power to 470HP ( 1+ Bar IRL ). For the 650HP/750HP, sheet tuning B is used, mid rpm turbo for 650HP and high rpm turbo for 750HP. Flexible tuning is the key here.

For sending the power to the wheels, a 4 speed gearbox is used, just like the real car does. It has custom ratio optimized for all power configuration, from 430HP to 750HP, ready to go. Suspension also gets special treatment, it can go very low, but for now it rides just like the real car. I made special suspension setup, spring rate, damper, ARB, camber and toe are optimized for comfort soft tire. It also has tight LSD to bring the Porsche character into life :D The weight also replicated at over 1300kg, surprisingly the extra fat barely felt when driving. The car was tested and tuned at La Sarthe, Tsukuba, and Spa.

To complete the look of the real car, the car is painted with dark brown metallic paint and similar wheel color.

Alright, here's one that's not really realistic, but I quite like it. The recipe is kinda complex and I don't really wanna type it out, but if you really want it, I'll give it to ya. :sly:

I call this the "Carbon Lotus", a MAWD (mid engine, all wheel drive) Lotus Evora. It's twin turbo straight 6 pushes 453hp through it's custom 8-speed transmission. An exclusive all wheel drive system and suspension set up give it superb handling characteristics. Between the engine, turbo blow-off, and the gear whine, this is one noisemaker that sounds like heaven and goes like hell.

PS: This is a great 550pp alternative to the GTR or ZZII

Another Wangan Cruiser :)

MAZDA ẼFINI FD RX7 "Green Hornet" 600HP-700+HP

A rather simple recipe, fit bigger turbo and engine tuning to produce over 700+HP peak power with abundant torque across rev range at over 500ft lb. The usual stock gearbox with custom ratio and lowered suspension completes the wangan hornet :D Tuned with comfort soft.

Alright, I have a few more for you guys, I'll post pics tomorrow:

M3 Coupe '07
- Z4 M Coupe inline 6
- 135i twin turbo system
I just wanted a premium straight 6 M3, this one makes 429 hp and redlines at 8800 rpm

FT86 Concept '09
- Subaru Legacy 3.0R flat 6
- Subaru Impreza '10 twin turbo
- Lexus IS-F transmission
This was the singular reason I started doing hybrids. Couldn't figure out how to make this one for a while, but I have it now 👍. 329 hp, gives a whole new meaning to "86" :sly:

Ferrari CaliforniaXX
- 599 engine
- F40 twin turbos
I made this as Ferrari's take on a Mercedes SL65 AMG. Tried making a coupe version without the wing, but when I removed the wing, it took the top with it. 640 hp

The All-Japan Special
- GTR Spec V body and twin turbos (noticing a theme?)
- Lexus LFA engine
- IS-F transmission
- 370z clutch & flywheel
- Impreza '10 center differential
- Mitsubishi Evo X yaw control
- NSX Type R '02 racing exhaust
- RX7 Bathurst R suspension
I took the best Japan has to offer and shoved it all in a Nissan. This makes 660 hp. I'll be doing similar cars for Germany, Britain, Italy (this will be an evolution of the Alfa 10C Castagna at the top of this page), and 'Murica.

Corvette C7
- Z06 engine (C6)
- ZR1 RM chassis and suspension
I really wanted to do more with this, but I can't seem to change the body code back to the C7 after I change it to something else, so I'm stuck doing basic swaps to this one. :ouch:

All of these (except the C7, can't trade that) will be up for trade, just shoot me a FR and I'll send it to you ASAP. I will also trade the Alfa 10C and Carbon Lotus.
I am now taking hybrid requests.
I might not be as good as ol' Rido, but I'll definitely try.

Not specific for me, but just an 💡...

LFA 2JZ

Kurei/Mcluvin's Personal Supra

Nothing super special, My personal Supra RZ with Original 700HP Engine on Z34 chassis with corrected weight (all about 'dat realism), I've posted it before but recently I've modified its 6th gear for 230+mph high-speed Wangan blasts, while also serving as a great cruise-gear at the lower rpms. Nothing but a joy to drive now. :D

You ever thought about going wingless? That would be a sexy looking car.

I have and did on a previous Supra, but I ended up not liking it to be honest. I'd really like to see the TRD wing make a GT appearance at some point, but I can't see that happening with their (PD) GT-R obsession.

I don't know about that. Personally, I've never liked the look of wingless JZA80s. Stock or Ridox-style GT-Wing would look best IMO, but tis not my car.:ouch:

EDIT: Tree'd by the actual owner!

I hear ya, your car, your rules :sly:
Still an excellent Supra.

Would that be an LFA with 2JZ, or a Supra with LFA engine?

Wasn't there a V10 Supra being built irl recently? All I remember is someone mentioning an LFA engine, then I saw a photo of a V10 block in a white Supra (just the block). Does anyone know about the car I'm talking about? I'd love to know what happened with it, and if it was genuinely an LFA engine.
